during our /base-my Hack Day event, we onboarded 16 attendees onchain by helping them set up their @coinbasewallet and gifted them basenames
how?
- we sent $0.50 to each of them to claim their basename
- thanks to the low cost of basenames and low gas fees on @base, $0.50 was more than enough, with extra to spare
- we also ran a raffle, gifting 3x 20 USDC and 3x 5 USDC to 6 winners in total, only those with a basename could participate

BM everyone, For a while now, I have been tackling a major issue in my community: littering. To address this, I built a 🔵 TRASH-PICKING ROBOT 🔵 that roams the neighborhood, collecting waste and keeping our environment clean. Many people here lacks awareness about the dangers of improper waste disposal, which leads to pollution and health risks. Through this innovation, I try to educate them on the importance of environmental responsibility.
🔵 Additionally, the system incentivizes the community to get involved. When someone reports areas needing cleaning, or guides the robot to trash, they earn tokens on base. It’s a way to bring people Onchain to take part in keeping our community cleaning.

I was privileged to tutor some children 3-7 years old, and i noticed how quick they learned concept, especially if presented in a playful manner. Children can be brought onchain to. Roughly a month ago, @jitz and I had a conversation about how to support Vietnamese people in need after Typhoon Yagi.
The numbers are sad. This resulted in the loss of 197 lives, with 128 individuals still missing. Uncountable damages to agriculture and logistics. I could not think of a better way to support Vietnamese by collaborating with our talented fren Jitz to come up with this "Vietnamese in Flood" NFT. As for me, this is how onchain works. I hope each and every one of gives us a hand in supporting Vietnamese people.
90% of all proceeds will be sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee by the 23rd of Oct, while 10% will be allocated to our artist.

In August, 2012, I lost a neighbor who just put to bed due to wrongly administered bl00d, a consequence of improper record keeping!
Sadly, this is not an isolated incident.
In April 2015, a friend of mine also lost a loved one due to administration of counterfeit drugs.
But these are just my personal experiences! There are countless others that have experienced same and even worse. These experiences only highlight a systemic issue within our healthcare system. It's high time we took decisive action to address these grave shortcomings onchain through @base!
I'm proud to be working alongside @ophirkaycee @psalmuel1st and my other Basesome team members to develop a solution to address this and make a real difference in the health sector.

So, I formed the /xbteam community to find and solve every problem found by our members in this scope.
