I’d love to share a little about myself! Most of my training sessions take place in the morning because, in the evening, I’m studying to become a sports administrator. I’m about 70% through my degree and working hard to be a great student.
This week, I’m on a short break, which has given me the chance to train at night with my crew. We’ve been practicing in this space for about 15 years, and it has become the place where multiple generations of breakers in Bogotá have trained and grown.
For me, this is one of the most important places, which is why, in recent years, I’ve dedicated myself to writing proposals to the government. Thanks to these efforts, we’ve secured funding to purchase essential equipment for daily practice such as a sound system, konker, tatami, weights, resistance bands, mirrors, and much more.
In fact, one of my biggest motivations for studying what I do is to showcase that breaking deserves better spaces and greater support. Through sports, I believe we can make that happen.

After a busy season of midterms and packed student schedules, my cousin and I finally made time for our Nounish Beach Cleanup at our local beach! We spent about two hours cleaning up, and though it was a bit delayed, we're glad we could still make a difference. Life gets hectic, but taking a moment to care for our environment is always worth it. 🫶🏻

Flyer for next show is already up! Next week's live performance will be a new version of my alliance with Café Pixel, this time I will be inaugurating their stage, wich has not been used for live performances yet!
Since Café Pixel is also a gamer venue, I have included once again some video game music tracks to the setlist, and I will have a few more surprises that day.
Of course tickets are free, so I hope that you can come over and have a good time! Maybe we could train a little bit for the next tournament... Wich is already booked for March 26 👀

Jessica, like her brother Rodrigo, also suffers from frail body syndrome, but has no cognitive impairment. She is undergoing bariatric surgery, faithfully attends sessions and foresees improvements in her future life, as well as that of her family.

Today we’ll host another surf movie presentation in Noronha - this time we’ll showcase the best waves of the 2025 season so far. It’s the SOLUNA Festival, where we see the sunset and also the full moon rise, at an amazing restaurant called Mavi.
Expectations are for 100-150 people attending and I’ll make sure to make plenty of movies to showcase the audience 🤙🏾

It is wonderful to infect others with what we are passionate about! We have received a wonderful message that fills us with joy! In January we started the Cycle of Regenerative Workshops in Vida Verde with the BioFilter 🚰 ♻️ Workshop given by @cvnuitter, where we went from theory to practice. More than 30 people attended, including the local community, university students of Agroecology and Scouts.
A group of Agroecology students who attended our workshop decided to base their degree work on the Biological Filters. The satisfaction is immense and drives us to one more. 🔥💚🔥
The teacher sent us a video of the small model they made of a BioFilter, which they are using in their classes to recreate the BioFilter with the rest of the students. This is beautiful!😍 ♻️ ⌐◨-◨

Working on my rehab to get back in the water! My knee was swollen over the last week due to excessive usage - I think it was from several wipeouts over the surf season 🤷🏾♂️

Because Noronha is a holiday destination, gathering tourists was also hard. Most of the attendees were resident artists, photographers, surfers that were interested on finding ways to support their work.

Looking back at my visual art archive, I notice it's all very emotional, sad, full of anger and generally a desperate cry for help (I've been using Adobe Illustrator -not an ad- since I was 12).
It was always my way of surviving, through visual language, since I could never understand what was happening to me, and put it into words was literally impossible for me.
That's why I want to reframe it and use the noggles as a way to see the world from a new perspective.

Having a good medical team and a professional diagnosis is crucial.
For years, I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder. Exactly a year ago, I saw an ADHD specialist and scored 99 out of 100.
Being misdiagnosed and on the wrong medication took a huge toll on my mental health, impacting every aspect of my life and leading me to the most dark places.
I've learned a lot (and I'm still learning!) and have seen a HUGE improvement in my life recently.
It's essential to understand yourself and work on personal growth to develop the tools you need to thrive.
