When I stopped to take in this view, I felt the weight of the past year lift, just a little. Iโve often felt lonelyโlike I donโt quite fit in or belong. But this year taught me something important: itโs okay to be weird, to be different, to just be myself. What connects us all, no matter how unique we are, is the shared experience of simply being alive.
Looking at this winding road through the mountains and valleys, I was reminded that life isnโt meant to be a straight path. I went on this hike to embrace change and remind myself that the twists and turns are part of what makes it all worthwhile. Being surrounded by my closest friendsโand even getting a surprise call from a Farcaster friend while standing at the top of a mountain, just a few feet from a hawkโmade me feel incredibly lucky.
