'Obsessed with all the things that we could do' is a freshly minted work by @danileoni . yet another artist whose work have become familiar with partially due to warpcast . they use their incredible skills to create scenes with figures draped in glossy plastic or latex . faces are never frontal and if they are these are masked . with this new work there's a strong emphasis on the material theme mentioned above . the implied figure in center is ruminating and imagining what a scene like this might sound and smell like . what would be the next move .

some years back was doing graphics for the releases of a techno bass label from San Diego called Jelly Bean Farm . this is the one vinyl they released where did the cover art . also designed the logo and the type face that were used for all their releases . was a great experience

not sure why this is so satisfying just as it is . can stare at it for quite a while even though this is not what will be the final . at all .

oscarpettersson has many very trippy 3D works that touch the stomach . 'W8 Weight' stands out for me because of its deceptive stillness and the tension it creates . it takes a moment to realise that the texture of the rope is moving . something it obviously does not do in the real world . sometimes it takes only a slight and imperceptible change to make something feel out of place .

'ARCHIDUCHESS 004' is one of more boldly minimal works of this series of 20 vector pieces based on pencil drawings . tend to think of it as a cross between a valley . two states of sunset and a bowling alley thrown in .
