Got the vodka pep with pesto (pesto is new afaik) and the white with mushrooms, added hot honey to both

At Scratch Brewery in Ava, IL NYT claims one of the best pizzas in the the USA. Hour and a half drive from my hometown STL def worth the hype.

Finally tried the clam slice from Lucia (itโ€™s a special they only do on Fridays)

It was pretty solid although a bit dry, wish it wouldโ€™ve had some kind of sauce

Got a couple of slices from Artichoke after watching my cousin run the marathon (her first one, she ran a 3:28:25!)

Vodka pep and the crab slice, both were decent (and huge, especially the crab) but not as good as I remembered it

The crab is way creamier than it used to be (maybe trying to be more like the artichoke slice) and both sauces were a bit bland

Will still go back and give it another try though, their vodka slice used to be my favorite in the city (now that title belongs to Lucia)

I think the bufalina slice might be one of my favorites from Mamaโ€™s Too, itโ€™s loaded with chicken but still has a great balance

Also got the poached pear (another top slice imo if youโ€™re into sweet and savory things) and the vodka pep (which has been dry both times Iโ€™ve gotten it, wonโ€™t get it again)
