This has been a rough month.

I found out I have diabetes today.

And now so much of my lifestyle has to change on a dime.

I am going to miss good food.
For the rest of my life.

Sigh.

But honestly, I would have liked to at least limit the "passport photo" generations to my gender. I'm not going to pick a guy to represent me and 8/10 of my generations were guys.

Only had 2 women to pick from and while this one is very cute, she looks nothing like me! It feels weird to not let people choose something closer to what they look like.

But maybe that discomfort is part of the "social experiment"?

Been sick for more than two weeks and taking care of my husband who’s also sick. Been exhausting.

I am feeling a little better this morning for the first time in a week of this terrible cold! 🎉

It is tough to feel like complete 💩for a whole week.

I feel so much respect for folks I know that deal with chronic issues but still push through them every day. It would be so hard to function with this level of discomfort perpetually.

This has made me much more determined to reach my health goals than before once I recover from this.

Now if I can just figure out how to avoid contagious people at social events.

I'm spoiled with tx fees on Base now.

I forgot that I needed to check the gwei prices before doing transactions on ETH L1, and lost $80 today I could have waited an hour or two not to lose.

Just did my things at the absolute worst time in an entire week!

But it reminds me why I really didn't like having to do anything on ETH. Not being able to transact when I want to and have to choose between missing opportunities, being stuck refreshing the gas tracker until it's reasonable or paying way too much in transaction fees was always the most annoying thing.

I just wish Base was more than a stage 0 L2. I don't trust it for anything that builds legacy.

Been in bed sick almost all day.

I don’t remember the last time I felt this bad. Even COVID didn’t knock me out like this. Fever, chills, sinuses and ears messed up, aches and pains… I got a flu shot but this feels like the flu.

Hoping I feel a little better tomorrow.

I was supposed to be on a plane right now, but had to cancel my trip because I came down with a bad cold last night. Was stuck in bed all morning. Still feel awful and am headed back to bed soon.

I haven't been sick in years but this is the second cold in less than a month. 😫 🤒 😣

What's the deal with this one?
Nothing has as nice a curve as that.
It's got to be some kind of trap.
How do you research these things to figure out what the story is?
