Camped alone last night to secure a good spot for my daughter's birthday party and campout tonight.
After setting up camp I watched the fire, smoked weed(which is rare for me these days), drank wine and did a tiny bit of mushrooms.

Men: for both my kids, at around 1 year old, I got/am depressed and dark.
I can't say why in particular because I'm happy with my family and where we are in life. There's lots of love and play and joy in our house.
Things are, mostly, pretty good and I'm grateful for what we have. Not to say we don't have issues to work through, but those are good to have!
Last time it was the most depressed I had ever been. This time not as bad, but it's still undeniably there.
I know it's going to pass and there's no safety risk. I'm just curious if any other men experience this, how common it is, and to let anyone who might be struggling know: we got this. It's hard, but we just gotta fight for our family despite the challenges. 💪

Three days unconnected. Didn't even take out my phone for pics.
Walked the shore of a lake pulling full sleds of camping and fishing gear. 4 adults, 4 kids from 14 months to 8 years.
Set up camp in the forest to escape the wind, drilled some holes in the ice, went for a nice ski, caught some Lake Trout, and gathered and burned A LOT of wood hanging out by and cooking on the 🔥 🔥 🔥
Such a good reset.

270% is a lie for canadian milk/dairy. USA has never reached the threshold that would trigger "270%" tariffs on milk. So it's a twisted truth. Yes, canada does charge more as the volume increases, but the volume has never increased to that level, so kind of a null point.
