GOLDEN ERA ICONS by @dedos

Paying tribute to the innovative artists of the Golden Era is an idea I’ve been slowly cultivating for over a decade. Growing up in the '90s, as a graffiti artist / bboy, these artists inspired me, influenced me, and gave me purpose. I imagined a collector series of notable MCs from the '80s through the mid-'90s who possess an incredible amount of originality. I hope that the youth today will take the initiative to dig and learn about what it means to be dope and enlightened. This series is in collaboration with the Hip Hop Museum in the Bronx, NY, and half the proceeds will go directly to them and their communities. What I have accomplished thus far is slim but it's just the tip of the iceberg.
