Hot take: Zora needs to lower the mint price to 1 spark to really make it work as the new Instagram.
Hot take: now I can’t post quality content to all the channels I want to, and I don’t even know how to be a member.

I don’t like it.
This chain project would be amazing to work on.

I’ve been thinking about how the ‘open source’ part of the permissionless requirement we take for granted is actually not permissionless at all. GitHub is part of a corporation, and it’s greatly centralized.

Hosting all the source code of the world in a Git Chain would be the last piece of the puzzle to guarantee resilience and true decentralization for any piece of the ‘supply chain’.

Feature request: being able to expand comments on the right.

All this space is wasted otherwise :(
Remember: FREE explorer for ANY OP Chain!

I’ve been using the iPad Pro 13“ M4 with Magic Keyboard for almost two weeks now, and I’ve been heavily testing it during the trip to Singapore for TOKEN2049.

It’s astounding. I don’t regret my decision and I don’t have any incentive to go back to my Macbook Pro, that I’ll now give back to the leasing company.

I couldn’t go with the 13” because it was too small, but this is perfect for everything.

I now ordered the Apple Pencil Pro as well, and I’m ready to travel as light as possible: I’m looking to travel with only my backpack for trips < 5 days.

Less is more!
Finally found the time to write my thoughts on the future of L2s.

It involves some simple math, and some things that many people think but few say out loud.

It’s about removing speculation from the equation - and how to do that: https://news.kiwistand.com/stories?index=0x66edd6cd8e143cfd4427afe2e676819366bf1b9999c2672d510f23cdf52666fb5f569bbb

Now that iOS 18 is out, I’m ready for the big leap: I’m going full mobile when out of my home office, discarding my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro 11” in favor of a unified solution with the iPad Pro 13 M4 with Magic Keyboard.

The new iPad got in last week and now I’m testing it on real-world use when traveling to Singapore for TOKEN2049.

Since I only have three devices overall (Watch, iPad and iPhone) I can now travel with only my 32L backpack and still pack clothes for 3-4 days with no issue.

Thin and light.
I had been off of lactose for 4 months.

Then, last month, I went on some holiday trips and had to take lactase to eat some good ice cream and other good food.

It seems like I was OK, but then as soon as I got back home, I got worse.

I now know that I can only eat lactose once a week in very little dosage to be OK.
To me, Farcaster reached PMF.

I can say that be even tho I don’t post every day, I know that what I poster is not gonna be lost.

Intuitively, I know that FC is here to stay, a better social network for the deep and meaningful conversations.
You can now search ENS names on the Superscan.

Excited to yap about Bitcoin L2s at the Bitcoin Staking Forum in Singapore in 2 weeks.

Seems like yesterday that we saw the first sidechains coming to Bitcoin, and now there's a whole industry dedicated to put BTC to use and scale seamlessly.

We're exploring HyperSDK. And the concept is AMAZING.

Yes, it can THEORETICALLY perform up to 100K TPS on each chain, but that's really more than what the current data ingestion technology can digest.

I would like to provide some updates about it at the Avalanche Summit III next month, let's hope we'll have something by then.

Thank you to the GOAT Aaron Buchwald for leading the renewed efforts in this technology. It can really lead the way for the next era of commoditization: the VM modularity.

I know that this is still a bit far fetched, but that's what I am seeing: imagine a world in which you can simply plug and play different modules of a VM to make the best environment for your apps' specific needs.

And it all starts with a very basic but powerful implementation.

I'm so excited to see what's next for this.
do you have prospects like this?
4 years ago today, a small team of 5 people with a grant launched a block explorer for the Avalanche community.

We didn’t know anything about how to build such a product, but we knew we wanted to have an impact.

4 years later, the team has grown 4x and is a group full of very talented people that are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with a block explorer, by reducing the pricing and increasing the quality by an order of magnitude, thereby becoming widely recognized by the whole industry.

I’m so proud of what we did, and can’t wait to see what’s next.
Sad to see a very good experiment in reimagining the block explorer shutting down.

I liked the horizontal navigation.

But I know Jordan will make something better 😎
Is it possible to have a fitness super app?

Still haven't seen one

How do I claim the MOXIE airdrop?
Deep Black Routescan!
I'm on a good writing streak, writing every month.

And I need to thank Montaigne.io for this, it's so easy, really. I just write a note and move it to a folder. Removes any friction.
I honestly know very little about this, because I guess that nobody knows anything about this.

What is a successful way of monetizing a block explorer that doesn't rely on a chain paying for it?
Just realized I’m a top earner on Kiwi for invites.

My ref to join kiwi at a discounted price: https://news.kiwistand.com/?referral=0x45cC2088e22FA1196d1fBFdbe3E539C76Dc0BF22
@syndicate ’s blog post inspired me to follow-up with some other thoughts on my side - block explorers for L3s.
