I am attempting to provide a unique, inside look at behind-the-scenes of Final Four week and any other questions or ideas exclusively for @farcaster users. I hope you all are enjoying thus far, and fire away with any other thoughts or asks!
Wednesday of Final Four week:
- errands prior to departure. Packing, haircut, any other odds and ends
- most intense practice of the week (as designed by our sports science team)
- campus send off. Pics already sent
- flight to SA
- full scene of fans and crowd upon arrival
- team dinner in SA
Feels real.

Love this! Real talk though…did he get a date with her? 👀
Yesterday, one of our walk ons - who was a manager for 3 years, crowd chants for him to get in a game - gets in game at the end of our Maryland win, gets an offensive rebound and scores - got a 10K scholarship. Nobody knew it was happening, he came out of locker room as we all went from film room to start of practice

For me (and probably for most sports fans), I don't have an 'agenda' for what you'd share, just tell us stuff that puts us there. I'd rather hear one fun or unique story from the day than 10 more generic items that happened. That's probably true for FCers who aren't sports fans too...tell us a couple stories about life at the Final Four. Don't know if that helps.

We are two days into Final Four week. I am hoping it goes through next Monday, of course. In meantime, will include pictures while in San Antonio. What else would you guys like to hear, learn about, discuss of or from this experience? Maybe a Q+A Thursday or Friday? Open to any and all ideas..
Tuesday of Final Four week:
- met as staff to go over rest of week, travel plans, and how crazy the media and all that will be asked of us over the ensuing few days will be
- met to go over Auburn with the coach in charge of the scout
- had some calls with agent / portal related calls

Lift regiment: high minute guys had a recovery lift yesterday, will have a hard lift tomorrow, and tendon and recovery work in San Antonio Friday. Low minute guys had a hard lift yesterday, will have a hard lift tomorrow, and a decent lift in the hotel Friday.

Additionally, NIL has changed the game.. the top players - either by addition or retention, won’t be cheap. Maybe we can turn the Gators into @farcaster’s team with some NIL support!

We are spending considerably less time on the portal than every team not playing, and probably least amount of time of the four teams. A lot of that has to do with the fact that we have multiple key players with eligibility - so player retention will be huge. But more importantly, is the fact that we want to focus on

Great question. With each opponent, we will have one Coach specifically focused on that team designing the scout and game plan. They will be responsible for putting in the other teams plays during practice for scout team, etc, and initial ways on plan of attack to stop them.

Taking @bradq’s idea / advice.. going to do the best that I can to document parts of our Final Four week + weekend as possible. Such as some occasional behind the scenes glimpses or pics, random thoughts/anecdotes, and any other miscellaneous idea or thing that comes up. I am also open to suggestions from the FC fam!
