Making new friends in this space is a daily activity, and I love it. Had a chat with @arrotu on X and just subscribed to their Paragraph! 🎉
Thanks @wanderloots.eth for the NFT drop! Head over to /cal to be a part of a fun community and sign up!
My first Canadian winter draws near, and I'd like to ask you folks for advice on how to weather it 😁

Any useful tidbits on gear/clothing? Any go-to clothing shops? Any red flags to consider when looking at winter clothes?
Rye catching some rays
Auroras sighted in Toronto tonight!
(Not my photos, got them from a friend)
I just subscribed to @tinyrainboot on Paragraph! 🎉 If you know any more artists who happen to write, please send any suggestions my way!
I just subscribed to Growth Stories on Paragraph, as any self-respecting marketer should. Cheers @growthbeast.eth, love what you do.
You'll never catch liquid/laid back dnb at your local underground gigs. Sad. Here's something to fix that

If you're a real human who's followed me, and I've not interacted with you at all, please say hi. Tysm
I recently came across her channel on YouTube and it's kind of giving me an existential crisis. Louise focuses on "slow marketing" and it's poles apart from what we do in Web3.

It shelves quantity for quality, reach is gone and connection is in.

How can we use this???

It seems like very few crypto people I meet use trading bots.

Plenty know about them, but there hasn't been too much desire around my circles even to make the most of these range-bound markets. If you're using a CEX, you have this option.
We need a way for small accounts to be able to connect with other small accounts since the OGs have already snowballed into their own little walled gardens
Chill times with the Toronto Farcaster community!
Now that we know that the 'trending' tab's days are numbered I will be that guy who uses it so much that the team will reconsider. Just FYI warpcast devs, fyi
To celebrate my first ever degen tip I'm sharing the knowledge for other folks who are late to the party.

What the deal with Degen? Here's a read from the team at Matcha - https://blog.matcha.xyz/article/degen-token-on-farcaster#:~:text=You%20can%20only%20claim%20tips,the%20end%20of%20the%20month).
Warpcast looks super different and I kind of dig it
I just subscribed to Web3 with TPan on Paragraph! 🎉

Great to see that crypto partnerships are not just still happening, but driving attention.
@karima I really dug your marketing article! Will follow your experiments with Umoja and The Factory closely! Here's a link for anyone who's interested https://paragraph.xyz/@nottoolate/on-crypto,-content,-and-connection
The sentiment in this piece by @jaredhecht.eth is so real. Back in the day there was just one online place where we hung out, until Facebook basically re-wrote the game. Maybe it's a function of getting older and having more responsibilities, but the concept of the 'internet home' seems to have disappeared. MSN Messenger, Hi5, Facebook and then Twitter were vital but often just one at a time.

Now it's a fragmented mess, and despite Discord's best efforts to be the MSN messenger of today, there's a secret sauce missing. User experiences are objectively better, but I feel less psyched to use these services that I used to. Are algo-driven feeds not sparking the same level of joy? Maybe that secret sauce was the luxury of being online 24x7, and I'm chasing the dragon.

Can Farcaster become this new platform? What needs to be done to bring it there? And what sort of things would you like to see put in place to make it more comfortable?
Cypherpunk values vs. impact and commercialisation. Some of the examples cited to show how cultural forces 'successfully' straddled the line between community and commercialisation didn't age well. Vice’s pivot especially was fatal.

We're building permanent rails for a new internet, and we cannot let our standards slide for even a second. A new internet that's malleable by the forces in power is a bit of a waste of everyone's time.
Does anyone here have any resources on Nuit Blanche this year? I'm sure there's so much to look forward to but there's absolutely no chatter on Youtube or TikTok
If anyone has seen Megalopolis, can you confirm if it's actually this bad?
