The first Large Action Model (LAM) trained in real-time on a blockchain, starting with all actions on Base.
You can use it right now to build onchain feeds inside your app, make your agent smarter, and help creators get discovered by showing their content directly to the users who care!

@mbd turned 2 years today 🎉🎉
I started thinking about onchain recommendations in 2018 but there was not much onchain content.
In 2021, I started looking at it seriously after the NFT hype, I knew everything would be an NFT/token one day.
In 2022, I discovered Farcaster and started seeing it growing, I knew social media would be a game changer and create an entry point for this idea.
In 2023, some great minds validated I wasn't crazy (especially around the long-term thesis of how it will play with decentralized AI)
In 2024, beta launched, trialed with +500 devs, and grew usage 100X
2025 will be fireworks! 🎉

below is simple feed aggregating content from a list of core $higher community members (someone said cabal?)
built using the @mbd feed builder:
1. calls the 'for you' feed API endpoint
2. fetches all casts from past 10 days
3. mbd's custom models scores casts and ranks them based on my FID's history
this can be either use as a way to create and monitor lists or as an input to another feed through the 'promotions' feature
many improvements coming in this area of the product. potential is here!

What would you build? Few teams built cool RAG for agents already with our vectorDB of all casts. Follow the tuto here: https://docs.mbd.xyz/docs/content-discovery-api-for-rag-summaries-and-insights
We used a distilled roberta fine tuned on 100M tweets so that the embeddings are great for short sentences and cast search & classification.
Soon this will get 100X better with a specific fine tuned model on all FC data and take into account the content of the URLs and media of the casts!

thankfully, social graph based recommendations can help solve that!

We're launching 0xRec, an AI accelerator program powered by our team of machine learning personalization talents at @mbd.
This is part of a broader push for client diversity. The idea is to help small innovative teams get really good at providing the very best onchain content to their users.
If we want to retain users beyond this cycle, web3 apps will need to compete head-to-head vs. web2 powerhouses. We think that we, as a space, can do better than what exists today and give user's more agency over their experiences and feeds.

despite big tech's attempt at Pavlovian conditioning everyone to passively consume information over the last decade

More people should think about how to incentivize the right human-in-the-loop approaches in AI. The big value add of crypto to AI will be felt here first.
