Chromosome 45+46. The Moon Man by Paul van Hoeydonck
TheFallen Astronaut is a 3.5-inch (8.9 cm) aluminum sculpture created by Belgian artist Paul Van Hoeydonck. It is a stylized figure of an astronaut in a spacesuit, intended to commemorate the astronauts and cosmonauts who have died in the advancement of space exploration. It was commissioned and placed on the Moon by the crew of Apollo 15 at Hadley Rille on August 2, 1971, UTC, next to a plaque listing 14 names of those who had died up to that time. National Air and Space Museum requested a replica of the statue.
53 years later, Paul van Hoeydonck is now showing the statue as it was intended and this 3D version will travel to the moon inside the Mare Crisium exhibition.

Mustafa AYDIN's photograph captures the NGC 1929, an open star cluster within the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of our Milky Way. NGC 1929 is accompanied by an emission nebula and is situated in the constellation of Dorado, approximately 160,000 light-years away. This specific star cluster and nebula associated with it, visible and photographable from the Southern Hemisphere only, was captured using a powerful 24-inch (61 cm) telescope.

The MAX IV Control System. MAX IV is the first synchrotron accelerator of the 4th generation. We invented the design using multi bend achromats in the build lattice. This meant we could reach unprecedented brilliance for electron accelerators and give scientific research a major leap forward in demonstrating the possibility, and in that accelerator facilities rebuild to copy our design. In the artwork all parts of the control system are displayed along with their interconnections, colour coded.

MoMA Postcard is a global community project. An experiment in collective creativity on blockchain, it invites anyone to collaborate, learn, and experiment with web3 technologies. Akin to a digital chain letter, each postcard is designed collaboratively— stamp by stamp, person by person—as it moves from one destination to the next. With 15 blank stamps ready to be designed and signed by co-creators, MoMA Postcard is an interactive NFT adventure waiting to be unlocked. Each postcard requires collective action and the leaderboard is decided by the most miles a Postcard will travel.

Endymion, a beautiful young man in Greek mythology, known for his habit of sleeping on a mountain. The moon goddess Selene discovered him and fell in love with his beauty. Selene asked Zeus to grant him eternal youth so that he would never leave her, and Zeus granted her wish by casting Endymion into an eternal sleep. Every night, Selene visited him where he slept, and by him had fifty daughters, each of whom presided over a phase of the moon. Endymion means "dive into" and the story can be interpreted as a representation of the cyclical nature of the moon's eternal rise and fall.

It was one of the first 3D animated characters, even before Toy Story so people were totally unfamiliar with this type of art, and were amazed by it. 30 years later, the Pillman NFT collection represents years of unique and irreplaceable digital art history, now finally finding a secure place on the blockchain in their original format, once and for all. Pillman is challenging the way we think about altering our consciousness, our moods, our sexuality. The Pillman collection represents an inclusive society, no one is left out, no matter who you are, no matter how far we are separated in the physical space. A golden Pillman was already part of a one year exhibition on the International Space Station inside the Moongallery project by Bernard Foing. This is the second trip into space for Pillman 🚀 @base
