We're thrilled to announce an unprecedented gathering between two native W3B artist communities, @seedcomputer & Newtro. Throughout the week, weโll share outings, talks, argentinian food, music, creative processes and many experiences that will strengthen the bond between both communities. ๐ ๐ฅ
Our friends from SEED are coming from a magical experience at the @bosquegracias Artist Residency in Patagonia, ARG. Now, the Newtro collective welcomes them to Buenos Aires to transform onchain friendship, into IRL bonds.
On Saturday, weโre closing the week with a final exhibition in a collective installation weโre building together. Weโll showcase artworks from 60 artists and musicalized with DJ sets by @isvirtual-aura, @koi555, @internetjunk, Thais and Leiny. ๐ฅต โจ

Last thursday, we inaugurated "Tesoros del Gran Chaco: Elogio a la tierra" in collaboration with Fundaciรณn Chaco Cultural, at the Museo de Arte Popular. This exhibition celebrates the connection between the ancestral practices of artisans from the Gran Chaco and contemporary digital art. From the textures and colors of the land to the knowledge passed down through generations, each piece is a homage to the cultural and spiritual richness of this territory.

Weโre very excited to start a new series of sessions, supporting artists from all over LATAM on their onboarding journey to the blockchain. Our collective keeps growing, and the horizon is becoming clearer: we want to activate cultural actions that empower, professionalize, and provide creative tools to our entire community. โจ
Weโre close to celebrating a year of constant activity. It all started with some pizzas at @bullsito's place, and now weโre more than 170 people sharing both virtual and physical spaces, building identity, and generating impact in our shared territories. ๐

We wanted to share a recap of what the Artist Journal by Newtro, Special Edition from Buenos Aires, Argentina was like! โจ
On Saturday, August 10th, we gathered with the collective to celebrate the launch of the LATAM Culture Builders collection and to welcome a very special guest who came all the way from Berlin: @pocobelli ๐
Thanks to everyone who is part of this every day and to those who support this collective synergy in one way or another. This celebration is the starting point for a conversation we've been meaning to have: we are Latin American artists building culture in community, facing common challenges, and challenging established norms to make this space more sovereign and democratic for everyone. ๐ซ

From today until Friday 30th, we are launching the first edition of a new collection curated by Newtro: LATAM Culture Builders ๐โจ
This is an open dialogue between
Quilla Nina, @santiagoney, @uhcaribe, @ludmilapan, @capn, @turro, @mentalnoise, Simulacro, @estelle and @sulkian
All together in a collection that redefines the role of the BUILDER on the internet, creating a space for artists and cultural managers to reflect on their impact in the emerging web3 culture and how this contributes to the development of more sovereign identities.

Today, we wanted to share about the work @nesva did for the concept art of the LATAM Culture Builders collection. ๐โฌ๏ธ
We loved teaming up with him on this, and we worked together on a few ideas to develop the visual identity for the entire project. โจ
One of his initial inspirations was Joaquรญn Torres Garcia's work "Inverted America," a pen-and-ink drawing from 1943. Additionally, the fist symbolizing struggle and the union of cables on the ground coming together represent LATAM artists working together for a more democratic W3B. โค
