We’re excited to share with you a new project: Newtro Inspirational Series. ✨ A new series of workshops designed to expand our collective’s artistic knowledge, exploring new themes, mediums, and techniques.
This initiative comes from our ongoing search for ways to provide our community with a wide range of tools, resources, and opportunities. We want to keep building an inspiring ecosystem—one that keeps generating ideas, art, and new projects together. 🫂

There’s a strange mix going on in @sulkian's class, right? 👀
We are living in a time of unprecedented cultural recombination, where the overflow of information and democratization of digital tools have led us into an "era of the mix." However, the ease of use provided by these technologies—especially through centralized, paid services—comes with the risk of aesthetic homogenization, limiting creativity to the parameters defined by the companies behind these base models.
The MIXING ERA workshop aims to empower artists to take control of AI, personalize it, and use it as a means to critically express their unique vision. By working with open-source tools and local installations, processes that may be more complex at first, artists gain full control over their creative journey, transcending uniform aesthetics.

Last thursday, we inaugurated "Tesoros del Gran Chaco: Elogio a la tierra" in collaboration with Fundación Chaco Cultural, at the Museo de Arte Popular. This exhibition celebrates the connection between the ancestral practices of artisans from the Gran Chaco and contemporary digital art. From the textures and colors of the land to the knowledge passed down through generations, each piece is a homage to the cultural and spiritual richness of this territory.

On Saturday, August 10th, we gathered with the collective to celebrate the launch of the LATAM Culture Builders collection and to welcome a very special guest who came all the way from Berlin: @pocobelli 💜
Thanks to everyone who is part of this every day and to those who support this collective synergy in one way or another. This celebration is the starting point for a conversation we've been meaning to have: we are Latin American artists building culture in community, facing common challenges, and challenging established norms to make this space more sovereign and democratic for everyone. 🫂

From today until Friday 30th, we are launching the first edition of a new collection curated by Newtro: LATAM Culture Builders 🌎✨
This is an open dialogue between
Quilla Nina, @santiagoney, @uhcaribe, @ludmilapan, @capn, @turro, @mentalnoise, Simulacro, @estelle and @sulkian
All together in a collection that redefines the role of the BUILDER on the internet, creating a space for artists and cultural managers to reflect on their impact in the emerging web3 culture and how this contributes to the development of more sovereign identities.
