Pico is an island next to where I live. It has a big, dormant volcano—the tallest mountain in Portugal. Most of it's underwater, but exposed, it’d be just a few hundred meters smaller than Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.
There's a local saying that from other islands you can see the mountain, but on Pico, you can feel it. It's true.

We've received reports that a couple of community blockchain explorers, Blockscout and Basescan, are currently experiencing issues or delays; should be fixed soon as the respective teams are working on it
The Base network itself is unaffected and continues to operate normally as usual
If you need an alternative explorer in the meantime, here are a couple of options:

Every time I get to update the Base network status page, a fight is going on inside me, a terrible fight between two wolves
Upgrade 14 is happening on Base mainnet this Friday, April 25 -- if you're running a Base Node, please make sure you're running at least v0.11.8 or higher (latest release: v0.12.2) by Thursday
If you're not running a node, you don’t need to do anything... both the network and all funds are safe; you will also be able to continue creating content coins and triggering people that don't like them during the upgrade

Trends end. Owning them at the end isn't fun. Everything then is a race to (not be the last to) exit.
