Heading to the Montreux Jazz Festival always feels like returning to my inner music—Mecca. Since I was a little girl growing up nearby, a walk for a sweet blue-schtroumpfs—ice cream always meant strolling to Montreux’s lakeside and its air full of music legends' imprint. It’s like all the voices singing my soundtrack whisper in my ears when I’m there.
