I hope I’m wrong but I think Avengers: Doomsday is going to turn out like Thor: Love and Thunder.

We got a partial cast reveal for Doomsday and already see characters from X-Men, Fantastic 4, Thunderbolts, Wakanda, and Avengers. All this yet the movie universe has yet to be introduced to Doctor Doom.

I just hope they don’t make the same mistake they did with Christian Bale and give Doctor Doom more screen time.
People want to blame Blue Beetle’s failure on the Hollywood strikes, but the reality is it just wasn’t a good movie. The concept was cool, just poorly executed. Most of the actors were well-written and likable (not the main guy).

The Scarab that is the source of his powers sounds interesting but the audience is not told much about it in the movie and instead has to seek external sources for more information.

But most importantly I never once saw an ad for this movie anywhere. The biggest downfall was the marketing.
Highly recommend this movie. Definitely worth the $1 spent to watch it. It was an experience everyone should have.

Happy Grembusters day! 40 years ago Ghostbusters and Gremlins premiered in theatres, so who’s doing the double feature? 👀

Is ‘Sad Leaf Water’ already a tea company? If not I call dibs.

Ngl was a little disappointed with the popcorn bucket for Deadpool and Wolverine.

Rank the Matrix movies. I’ll go first:

1. The Matrix
2. Matrix Revolutions
3. Matrix Resurrections
4. Matrix Reloaded

(Honestly 2 and 4 were equally as bad, the sex scene in Reloaded was just weird though)

You ever feel like an outsider…
Local restaurants > chain restaurants (most of the time)
Like probably everyone else I have some great ideas but am plagued with the ADHD mind and get distracted every time I attempt to write a rough draft.
What happened to the little measuring lines in detergent caps? Am I supposed to just eyeball it?
What is everyone’s reasoning for watching movies and shows? I personally find them a great way to escape reality.
Chicago P.D is the perfect police drama, and Hank Voight the perfect character. He’s a no bs cop who sometimes goes beyond the law to punish criminals.

He treats criminals how they deserve to be treated.
Anyone see Immaculate yet? Thought this was a cool thing they’re doing.

HOT TAKE: I personally believe sex scenes to be mostly pointless, and they are only included because writers/directors are perverts who want to watch their fantasies played out.

Interested to see what other people think!
A little bit late but anyone see the “new” Wonka movie? I loved it and thought Timothée Chalamet did an amazing job (a very different movie to the famous Dune films).
All this food looks delicious, but tbh nothing beats a classic donut

So just watched the 2011 Cabin in the Woods (9/10 movie, highly recommend), but I was wondering if it was an original film or a remake of an older movie? It sounded like a remake, but then again “spooky cabin in the woods” is a common horror movie trope
Heard rumors that another Jurassic Park film is underway….one of my all time favorite movie series, but it’s perfect how it is (unless they wanted to do a prequel about Hammond and Lockwood).
It’s weird how A24 goes from producing Everything Everywhere all at Once and Hereditary to whatever Beau is Afraid was.

There definitely was some deeper meaning to it, just the plot itself was confusing as hell 🤣
