I don't see how Base doesn't take a large % of the bitcoin layers marketshare.

We should be skeptical of the statement that L2s *need* tokens.

Does it help bootstrap the ecosystem + (maybe) build your own sequencer/prover protocol? Yes.

But saying it's a necessity isn't true imo.
BitVM was a huge technical breakthrough! It鈥檚 being explored by several teams to enable optimistic bridging from Bitcoin to L2s
