I always say that digital fashion is the past, present, and future of the industry

We've been engaging with it for a long time now, think about gaming skins, which I like to call the first iteration of digital fashion or the AR filters that exist on social media platforms

Yet, we often fail to recognize them as such

We’ve coined terms like “skins” and “filters”, which obscure the fact that these are, in essence, embodiments of digital fashion

They are fashion. Digital🌹
Open call: Design competition 🦋

We're launching a design competition to see how far designers can push the piece, showing us their take on the Cosmos Sonata.

The winning designer will be interviewed for a feature in SYKY Magazine, with their piece featured on SYKY.com and across socials.
@lght.eth we can constitute this as digital fashion 0xb051f252b234da395beb82937cf3f59e87c0c80c

True digital fashion goes beyond the body, exploring shapes and aesthetics we once never imagined as wearable🌹
imo digital fashion could reach a mainstream moment within the next 3-4 years

Previously, I believed this would happen sooner, but it’s clear that digital fashion needed time to transition from a fleeting trend to an established industry ( a transition that imo is already well underway )

I foresee more designers and traditional brands gravitating toward digital fashion in the coming years

Key drivers include sustainability, the ability to offer new consumer experiences, and the need to establish a distinctive presence in the digital world ( You can consider gaming or social media )

This shift will not only raise awareness of digital fashion but also highlight the creativity and fresh perspectives of smaller, independent creators

Beyond simply embracing digital fashion, I expect traditional brands to focus increasingly on “phygital” garments (CAN WE FIND A NEW TERM PLEASE??)
That was fun💜
Thank you @syky and Harriet✨
