🍕 Blackberry Basil Ricotta Pizza 🍇🌿
1 ball of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup ricotta
1 cup fresh blackberries
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
Balsamic glaze (optional)
Preheat to 475°F (245°C). Place pizza stone in oven while it heats up or use a reg baking sheet.
Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to desired thickness. Transfer to a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.
Brush dough w/ olive oil, season w/ salt & black pepper.
Spread ricotta evenly over dough, leaving small area at edges.
Sprinkle mozzarella on top of ricotta.
Scatter blackberries & gently press into cheese.
Carefully transfer (w/ parchment) onto hot pizza stone or baking sheet.
Bake 10-12 min, or until crust is golden & cheese is melted/bubbly.
When pizza is out of the oven, drizzle honey & sprinkle basil on top.
Drizzle w/ balsamic glaze if desired.
