Get your hands dirty, get your coffee in a proper cup
this was the first teapot i made almost 5 years ago when i started ceramics. it took me over 2 months to make as each coil was hand rolled and attached to a wheel-thrown body.
the clay also needed to dry extremely slowly - over 2 weeks - due to all of the different thicknesses of clay in the build.
truly a labour of love - i gave it as a present to my ex and i haven't made a teapot since

After a long pause I'm back at the studio. Yesterday we had a little Christmas meeting with Glühwein and pottery games. Had 5 minutes to form my clay avatar. Guess which one I am.

Just getting into pottery (along with my whole family) thinking to make it CoCreated ofc! what shall I make first? (Apart from my learning failures!)
