My focus is growing good content on Farcaster. I believe the mix of gym selfies + stream of consciousness casting + occasional flashes of unhinged personality is the killer combo. Starting with IRL native users, expanding to more culturally similar ecosystems, and later abstracted for universal appeal

iโve kept gel on them the entire time (except 1 day in between refreshing it every 2 weeks) and just let them grow
+ started doing the gel myself bc I no longer trust salons to remove it without damaging my nails
+ daily cuticle oil
just chopped them down for a little rest period, but 6 more weeks and all the damage will be grown out finally ๐

a like is a reflex. it has the lowest activation energy past scrolling itself. and yet only 5-20% of social media users like content.
on speculative platforms, every piece of content offers a financial choice, a calculation. potential cost vs potential gain.
a social feed becomes a feed of financial decisions.
energy wanes, attention fractures. how many times a day can you weigh the current market cap and try to predict the future attention on each piece of content you see before deciding to buy or scroll to the next?
there's a reason social behemoths are all built upon a design hyperoptimized to reduce friction
as a ux person, i love experimentation. but what exact hypotheses are we working on here? who are we building for? itโs certainly not the billions of humans effortlessly scrolling instagram and twitter and tossing a like here and there

second - panic attacks, night sweats, trouble sleepingโฆthese are just normal parts of living with chronic anxiety, especially for those of us who are neurodivergent. it might seem alarming from the outside, but for many of us, this isnโt a crisis, itโs just part of the cycle weโve learned (or are still learning) to manage
the fact that this cast (about healing from dysregulation) raised so many concerns shows just how misunderstood mental health still is. because the truth is: you can live with anxiety and still show up fully, thrive, and do absolutely incredible things

i was having several panic attacks a day + waking up a ton throughout the night + night sweats + unable to sleep in past 6:30 no matter what time i went to bed
the past two days my body has finally let me sleep in (8:30 and 9!!), which means my cortisol is no longer spiking unnecessarily overnight and my parasympathetic nervous system is starting to retake dominance (rest and digest vs fight or flight mode)
big signal that all my regulation work is finally working ๐ฅณ โจ
