J.A. Konrath is a legendary thriller author who pioneered in self-publishing on Kindle, and now he’s pioneering in web3 by publishing his catalog (over 60 beloved titles and counting) as limited digital editions in our decentralized Library of Alexandria. So far we released his Dark Thriller Collective as limited digital editions and the project has onboarded several hundred of his fans so far, most of whom are collecting their first NFT.

I love the use case where you can pass on exact digital copies, even your entire library, to a lucky collector or to a future generation.
Reminds me of reading a book my grandmother read and loved, knowing she thumbed those same pages.

YES @rileybeans!! Oh @keccers.eth this is such a cool idea! I definitely recommend checking out /alexandria where readers' personal libraries are onchain and therefore truly owned 💜 🏛️ you can sell or pass the entire library on to whoever you want, no e-reader backup needed

One of my favorite parts of the Konrath Dark Thriller Collective release is all the new behind-the-scenes pieces the author included: original uncut drafts, co-author correspondences.
@jakonrath also wrote a new afterword for every single novel in the collective. “I’ve pretty much written an autobiography of my writing career,” Joe said when he had those finished.
The new content comprises 250,000 words. That’s the length of three more novels, if you’re counting.
