Tomorrow, June 8, to celebrate the one month anniversary of my book MAMMAL’s publication, I’ll present a choreographed version of its title poem, which will publicly debut at Basel.

Tomorrow, May 8, is MAMMAL’s official publication date. I spent eight years writing, revising and working to publish its pages. Tomorrow is a special day for me.

Started writing MAMMAL when I was pregnant with my daughter, now 8. It took that long to decide I was done + find the right publisher. MAMMAL’s galley had 88 pages. And May 8, my late grandmother Estela’s birthday, is MAMMAL’s official publication date.
