Been a while since we dropped some new Based Gooeys lore over at @novadao, but we've been working hard! Our lead artist has been doing a fabulous job bringing our NPCs to life with some amazing concept art and in-game sprites. 🔥🐱🎨

arfy bought himself an Asus ROG Ally (Z1 Extreme model). Arrived today. The kicker for me over Steam Deck and Legion Go and others, is that it docks and doubles as a functional Windows desktop. As a Windows device, hopefully my hardware wallet will work without fuss, not to mention game compatibility and the ability to use any games from GOG, Epic, etc (not just Steam).
First thing I did even before booting it up: opening up the case, ripping out the SSD drive and installing a new larger, faster 2TB M.2 2280 SSD. It's re-imaging the OS on it now. Who needs to play games, anyways? 😹

Picked up two fine specimens of Sangina today at a National Trust garden centre... I know it more commonly as Scotch Moss, but didn't realise it's also called Irish Moss!
We loved the two tones, think they'd look great underplanted in a potted fruit tree! They like well-drained soil, so in a large planter I reckon is ideal. We'll see how they do!

This was a slice of pumpkin pie we made from the pumpkin we grew and carved for Halloween. There's no more left, of course. I was just browsing my pictures and ran across this, taken a few weeks ago.

It was bonfire night last weekend at the /allotment, lots of branches and other detritus burned to ash, and to be turned into the soil for next season!

Ohai! In case you're new to arfy, these are my cats.
It's now been over 2 years and 3 months that arfy's quit smoking ciggies. Haven't had a single one since I quit cold turkey, and haven't really wanted one tbh.
But I do think I've replaced one habit with another, as I'm constantly intaking nicotine via my e-cigarette throughout the day. At least my house no longer stinks of smoke, and there's no combustion involved.
Anyone else in this situation?
