Happy Starry Saturday or what’s left of it! 😂

Watching storms travel across the lake into Ohio is so cool.

To see the stars above the clouds is amazing

Then to see lightning arc between the clouds before it becomes a cloud to ground (lake) strike is exhilarating!
I wish I could pay with USDC from my warplet at Costco
259/6654 ain't bad. I've been trying to keep up my weekly quotas.

I just minted my Farville OG NFT. I like the patch.
I'm so thankful Farcaster exists. I used to make a lot of smart contracts no one would play with or use because the UI/UX and reach weren't there.

Frames solved this for me and now I am building every day things I wouldn't believe even just a few years ago.

Between Farcaster and AI, the game has changed forever.
Lately I've been spending so much time tinkering with Venice I probably build a few apps a day at this point.

Crypto 🤝 AI. And they both work better with privacy.

AI using a crypto payment for inference costs makes so much more sense than a user account with a credit card.

I stopped bothering to post about Ohio on Twitter. Farcaster is just better.
On July 23, 1966, the M-497 reached a speed of 183.68 mph (295.6 km/h), an American rail speed record that stood until 1974.

The line had been chosen for its arrow-straight layout and good condition, but otherwise unmodified track.

Turbo jet trains love flat Ohio.

The issue: a FAKE imposter WOOD looks official because it has the token icon that the real WOOD should have.

I don't want FC users to get scammed. Please help.

On this day in 1921, John Glenn was born in Cambridge, Ohio. Just 41 years later, he became the first American to orbit Earth, circling the planet three times aboard Friendship 7.

Let's do it! No child should go hungry.

Beyond the moral victory of feeding the needy, it is practical. Kick out the scummy private corps forcing hungry kids into lunch debt.

If you're spending millions to run the schools, pay teachers, etc children should be able to focus on the lessons and not their hunger. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/politics/ohio-politics/ohio-lawmakers-propose-making-breakfast-lunch-free-at-schools

I took a photo of the World's Largest picnic basket.
This basket is outside of Columbus, Ohio and was the office building of the Longaberger basket company, but they went out of business and no one seems to want an office building that looks like a picnic basket outside of Columbus, Ohio, so it now just sits empty.
How are normies supposed to use this platform when @colin determines who can post in /food? Why even call it a decentralized social network at that point? @ted please save us

You're telling me 1 MAN gets to decide what food we can talk about?!
This is what worries me about Warpcast adoption @ted

Exactly! Decentralized social media is being killed by centralized channels. 0.5% of /books followers get to post. 0.04% of Farcaster users get to post in /books. One person got to create the /books channel and he's allowed to squat on the name because he allows 405 users to post. He says message me and I'll look at your profile. I messaged him one month ago and he hasn't responded. But I'm not trying to single him out. This is a problem with all channels on Farcaster and it's driving me crazy. @ted

I've ranted about this so many times. Sure we're keeping bots out but we're keeping humans out too. New users have NO WHERE to post on this platform because a few people came in and made channels with the popular nouns. New users are promised decentralized reddit, but can't get into the most basic channels then they get tired and give up on this platform. I'd like to see this platform grow in engagement but it just is NOT going to happen with this current system. Can you even GET a power badge anymore??
I am so glad Farcaster exists. I've been chasing decentralized social networks for years.

I used Peepeth but it was too early.

I used Lens but the design was too clunky IMO (ex. follows as NFTs)

Farcaster feels like it is doing everything right and the influence of its builders and communities can't be denied.

Shoutout to @dwr.eth @horsefacts.eth @v
I don't know who needs to hear this..

If you're storing over $1B in ETH, consider using a multisig with timelocks and only on dedicated, isolated hardware.

Think about it is all I'm saying.
😫 Fuck. I fucked up my Ohio streak last night by deleting and reposting to fix a typo.

FC is cruel like that sometimes.
On February 18, 1815, the Treaty of Ghent officially took effect, marking the end of the War of 1812 and securing Ohio’s place in American history as a crucial battleground in the fight for national sovereignty.

Ohio wasn’t just a place where the war was fought and won—it was the place where America’s future was secured.
Ohio, known as the "Mother of Presidents," has been the birthplace of seven U.S. presidents: Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James A. Garfield, Benjamin Harrison, William McKinley, William H. Taft, and Warren G. Harding.
Technically, Ohio was illegally operated for 150 years.

When Ohio was admitted to the Union in 1803, Congress forgot to approve its state constitution. It wasn't officially ratified until President Eisenhower signed a resolution in 1953.
Ohio Caverns was discovered by a farmhand in 1897 after noticing a sinkhole on a farm.

Inside these caverns lies the Crystal King, one of the largest and most perfectly formed stalactites in the United States at over 5 feet long and approximately 400 pounds; it's estimated to be more than 200,000 years old.

Don't know how to celebrate Valentine's Day and live near the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio? Then you have something to do!)
The zoo invited visitors to participate in an unusual campaign in Valentine's Day. For $15, you can name a worm after your Ex (or a hated colleague), and watch the sloth bears eating it. You'll calm your nerves and help the animals. Great idea, I think))
If I were @opensea, I'd use my brand power and public notoriety to capitalize on Farcaster.

They have the resources and record to convince a wider audience to experience a new way to connect on a decentralized social media.
Ohio.

That's the post because I'm not losing my streak but I'm watching the Super Bowl.
Congratulations @nickelj3 ! You've won $WOOD's first carbon retirement!🪵

You retired ~12200 tonnes of carbon onchain 🌍

To illustrate the impact, that's equivalent to:

or
🛢️28,245 barrels of oil consumed
or
🚛 162 tanker trucks' worth of gas

A great start to Clank for Climate! Thanks @proxystudio.eth for inspiring this experiment.
