In less than a week since its debut (around May 6th), over 11,000 authorizations have already been registered with EIP-7702, the new trick that allows normal wallets (EOAs) to function like smart contracts... but without moving to one.
It's like giving temporary superpowers to your old wallet without changing your suit.
OKX leads the pack with over 3,100 delegations, while MetaMask, although slower (1,300), holds more money in its delegated contracts.
Thanks to EIP-7702, users can do cooler operations: sign multiple things at once, set spending limits, or even automate transactions… without needing ETH for fees!
