Series name: Connection
Saw that one of favourite korean dramas is now available to watch on Netflix and I took it as my duty to tell yall about it.
Connection is a 14 eps thriller series about a narcotics detective, Jae Gyeong, and reporter, Yu Jin, who were high school friends, coming together after 20 years to investigate the mysterious death of their friend after he leaves them a huge death insurance payout.
While they start their investigations Jae Gyeong becomes forcibly addicted to a new drug going around making it much harder to work on investigating his friends death.
As time runs out for Jae Gyeong with his increasing inability to control his addiction will him and Yu jin be able to find out who did this to him and who killed their friend or will he succumb to his urge and be investigated by the very team he leads.

As someone studying to work in healthcare iA its really sad and terrifying to hear stories like this. Nurses are the backbone of healthcare and they get treated like sht by both patients and other healthcare workers.
Its also insane to hear that hospitals do not have enough security especially in a country where guns are legal to carry around like come on a metal detector would not cost anything compared to what people pay for healthcare. And although i dont live there it makes me think about the horrible experiences i could potentially face working as a doctor.
