One year post the coffee shop prop, I'm struggling to see how people in the nouns community are still confident this is a successful prop. I've asked questions a few times and its ignored, @thepark And @drewcoffman.eth post a noggle stamp cup and the nouns community high five each other. Our history is filled with delayed outcomes = bad results why is this any different? I’m extremely doubtful they are willing buyers at this point.
Thought it best to settle and mint the 1000th noun since my first purchase. 1,000 days of nouns checking logged. A lot has changed, a lot has come and gone. Looking forward to my pivot to IRS Informant. Long live Duna see you all in the 501c or whatever the legal number is

Imo the stream protection should only be triggered if you bid well above BV
Allowing Jimmy to stream his 0.7e purchase over 4 years is pointless when we are already seeding a honeypot with no protection for the 2 years of auction winners who are forced to join.

Should the refund stream be auto-converted to USDC, seeing as the dao is liable to the tax = dollar amount at auction?

I'm the first to admit when I noticed a re-ask for Nouns Primary School I was extremely frustrated and disappointed.
But I'm personally in the camp of ensuring its completion is a must. It can change generations of children's lives, and construction pricing isn't easy even for seasoned professionals. It's common in large-scale (loose term as a school buid in Australia wouldn't be small) projects to miss by margins seen here with the wrong cascade of extras or unexpected costing mistakes.
I think we owe it to ourselves to see it through to the renders and standards we were presented. I don't want to watch the meme the outside throws our way because we back away at 100k to complete a potential shining light for the Dao
We have endless tech projects that are just sunset URLs now. This school could change the trajectory of the footprint for generations.

Are we seeing anchoring tactics come to nouns, the initial prop is for a number that is both extremely high relative to today's numbers and even high relative to early noun requests. This sets the bar for the re-ask to look like the voters/Dao got a great deal on a prop. And it skipped through governance like everyone is winning.
Maybe it is my years dealing with construction quotes that have me second-guessing everything.

The new lower fork prop (candidate )must be from a concerned citizen, valid arguments but why hide? At best you can use ownership and participation to help convince the need. At worst, you're left to roll with the 30%

Wasn't the tax addition based on the bv of the nouns given at the time.? This means any gifted noun has a higher tax implication than the current cost to purchase a noun. Speak to your local tax agent. Don't take advice from a zebra
