What does Farcaster look like in the near term?
At some point this summer:
1. Coinbase Wallet will have a Farcaster-powered feed in their mobile app with millions of existing users. This will be the most significant increase to practical decentralization of the protocol since the beginning.
2. Our app will be called Farcaster. Easy to explain to the average person—"download Farcaster in the App Store".
3. Sign ups for most people will be free. Link your X / Twitter account and no payment required.
4. Wallet will be available on web. And thanks to auth addresses, no more "please open your phone to continue using this mini app".
5. Wallet and mini apps will expand their support to multiple chains. If there's an interesting app in crypto, the goal will be to have it play nicely with Farcaster.
6. We're going to continue scaling our weekly reward programs: iterating on casting and building mini apps, but we're also working on a new version of the invite program that rewards referrals AND retention.

More than an object I now own is an object that I created. I was never really a good “artist” by the general standard-created art that often only made sense to me - very raw and abstract.

Everyone says @farcade is the TikTok of gaming… but for a real old-school gamer like me, it feels like stepping into a real arcade: dozens of machines, challenges everywhere, and only one goal — beat the high score.

I’ve been hyping @farcade ever since I got active on Farcaster and it truly never disappoints.
Over the past 30 days, the team has consistently upgraded the user experience, and it’s clear that each improvement is rooted in feedback from the community
This pace of iteration is not only a testament to the dedication of the developers behind it but also to the robustness of the infrastructure on which it’s built.
To give some context, within 3 weeks:-
-the interface was rehauled
-flows were optimized
-gameplay significantly enhanced
-engaging tournaments were introduced
-player and developer bases started compounding
As an industry, we jumped on the Telegram mini-games bandwagon, and now there’s a flood of players competing for attention in an already crowded centralised space. While existing user bases give these launches an initial edge, retention often drops sharply after the airdrop or TGE

The results are out. Wasn’t what I was expecting though!

@farcaster imo is truly a builders paradise- a place where devs can grow, connect and market their creation and create an ecosystem of value exchange (shoutout to @bizarrebeast )
The tools embedded in this platform makes it super easy for any idea execution and we need genuinely need more success stories and case studies floating CT.
The age old Web2 playbook with a web3 stamp needs to be discarded when the industry is already presenting the opportunity to create a native growth stack

Hey! @farcade noticed a bug - some of the games for which the highest level have been achieved still appear as unclaimed.
+ when clicking on the back button, it takes me back to the top of the games page, instead of where i left of- making the flow choppy
++ feel like the level icons are a little light- sometimes I have to concentrate to see which ones are left- either the completed ones can be made brighter or the ones remaining lighter
