Why do we, the people, still participate in all this (geo-)political nonsense? We’re clinging to a sinking ship when we’ve already got the lifeboats to sail free!
The tools to build a sovereign, decentralized economy are right here: Smart contracts can bypass the red tape of notaries and business courts; why waste time and money on middlemen when we can automate trust?
Bitcoin is a tall middle finger to central banks, letting us store value without their grubby hands meddling in it.
With Zano and Dash we can send private, near-zero-fee transactions, dodging the surveillance and greed of traditional finance.
So, what’s holding us back? Are we too scared to ditch the old system? Too lazy to learn something new? Or just blind to the power we’ve got in our hands?

The real issue with the Trump China tariffs is that Chinese exporters will collapse and many will close their business, and then US businesses cannot import shit, because nobody is exporting anything anymore. But the US cannot replace any manufacturing within months, let alone 1 or 2 years. So prices of whatever is left will go up massively, super inflation. It's a real downward spiral into global economic depression.
Meditation is likely the most significant activity you can do every day and throughout your life.
And all you need to do is nothing.
Do nothing.
Think nothing.

Is warpcast still a thing?
Why do we call it the "AI arms race"? It feels like the completely wrong rhetoric.
Privacy in crypto is highly important, and I'd point to the Ledger CEO kidnapping as one example. How many rich and ultrarich are safe because of banking-secrecy? If you are a public person, or you are rich and your identity is leaked, you and your family become the target of extortion and kidnapping. How can this be solved, without introducing 3rd parties?
Solar PV is still the most underrated technology of our lifetime. We will see it transform entire economies and make electricity available as an unlimited subscription over the next 10 years.
Contrarian take: Rigid sleep routines = fragility. If one bad night derails you, your system’s weak. Like a muscle, sleep needs stress to grow—build into your routine occasional sleep deprivation, and learn to thrive when things don’t go perfectly.
The next 4 years will be insane. Endless disruption.
We need more: Brunei Darussalem, Bhutan, Singapore, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Seychelles, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Cyprus, Qatar, Fiji
We need less: Russia, EU, USA, China, India, Brazil, Australia, Iran, ...

AI is accelerating. Is anyone else feeling these pre-AGI vibes?
It seems to me that with LLMs the case is: garbage in, garbage out. Assuming this is true, shouldn't the best LLM be the one that is trained with the highest quality, not the highest quantity of data – and, who is building this?
Why do we no longer find what we are looking for on the Internet?
Dutch and Brazilian farmers discovered using pesticides like teenagers use TikTok – obsessively and in concerning quantities. Meanwhile, India feeds billions with a fraction of the chemicals. Someone's doing sustainability wrong, and it's not who you think.
I want a search engine that EXCLUDES all media companies, SEO blogs, and “personal branding” blogs without any substance.
The challenge of the future will be to unite the logical (AI) with the intuitive (human).
If you wonder on the current state of Germany: It seems somebody retweeted a tweet that called a German minister a "moron" and the next morning at 6AM the police woke him up with a search warrant because of "hate speech".
We need public rooms to meet, connect, and debate. And I'm not talking about online.
The majority of the richest and most educated individuals in Germany predicted a win of Kamala Harris – even the tiniest common sense or spending 5 minutes of X would've helped, I guess.
AI and big data – and thereby logic based decision-making – will be commoditized. This is why I strongly believe that human intuition will be the big differentiator in the future.

Apple released the iPhone 16.
It's just another iPhone.
And that makes Apple the most risk-averse technology company in the world.
Apple focuses on refinement over revolution.
It prioritizes stability and incremental improvements.
This strategy minimizes risk but stifles innovation.
Can Apple continue to lead without daring to disrupt?
Today, the Apple surely didn't fall far from the tree-dition.

Steve Jobs was not in founders' mode.
He had a vision and was in Ruthless Asshole Mode!
The same is true for all the VERY successful entrepreneurs.
Founders' mode is a big politically-correct distraction from what actually counts: having big balls, a big vision, and being absolutely ruthless to achieve it.
