Apple released the iPhone 16.
It's just another iPhone.

And that makes Apple the most risk-averse technology company in the world.

Apple focuses on refinement over revolution.
It prioritizes stability and incremental improvements.

This strategy minimizes risk but stifles innovation.
Can Apple continue to lead without daring to disrupt?

Today, the Apple surely didn't fall far from the tree-dition.

Steve Jobs was not in founders' mode.
He had a vision and was in Ruthless Asshole Mode!

The same is true for all the VERY successful entrepreneurs.

Founders' mode is a big politically-correct distraction from what actually counts: having big balls, a big vision, and being absolutely ruthless to achieve it.
Miyamoto Musashi said: "Be indifferent to where you live."
This indifference gives you real freedom.
Superb talk (10/10) by Rory Sutherland on why "Fast" isn't necessarily "Good"

Have a good start into the week!
Ideas should never be behind a paywall.
Can we increase productivity by splitting one full-time employed person (40h/week) into one person having two part-time jobs (2x 20h/week)?
Do we need decentralization for blogging or is self-hosting sufficient?
The U.S. reached peak wokeness in 2023.
The EU will each peak wokeness in 2024.
Contrarian opinion: It is a big misconception that the Islam somehow contributes to crime.

The safest cities in the world are in Muslim countries (UAE, Qatar, and Oman).

Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) is safer than Madrid, Graz, and Lausanne.

Antalya (Türkiye) and Kuwait City (Kuwait) are safer than Lisbon, Vienna, and Valencia.

Astana (Kazakhstan) is safer than Düsseldorf, Moscow, Sydney.

The unsafest cities on earth are all in Christian countries (South America, South Africa, and even the United States).

The problem IS NOT ISLAM.

The real problem is letting in criminals without vetting them via open borders AND then not even enforcing existing laws and deporting criminals and illegals!

The EU lets in ANYONE who comes via boat or by foot.

Why?

Let's start enforcing laws ruthlessly, just like the UAE, for example.
Nothing sparks curiosity more than listening to Hans Zimmer and looking into the clear sky full of stars.
Isn't electricity magic? You plug in a cable, and you illuminate your home, cook food, listen to music, heat your water, cool your home, and so much more.
I think it is a great time to start a new car manufacturer in Germany, close to the headquarters of (yet existing) VW, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi.
I think light pollution leads to atheism. And in reverse, that the most religious and spiritual regions today are in regions with a clear view into the night sky.

Previous generations of scientists were born under the fascination and curiosity of a clear sky full of stars.

It is unbelievable what you feel when you look into the sky full of stars, seeing galaxies, and planets.

It really makes you question the meaning of our existence. It shows you how insignificant we really are. How even more insignificant our problems are. How short our lifespan is.

It shows me that we are all one, unified humanity on earth. How stupid wars are. It makes me question fundamental physical theories, wanting to find a way to travel time and space. Explore further dimensions. Explore, meditate, pray, love, live.
Is it vietato in Italy to warm up coffee?
My commitment:
• Build a >$100 million productive business that is adding value to society
• Buy a multi-generational family estate where my entire family can live together in absolute nature
• Become a polyglot (Russian, Spanish) and polymath (science, philosophy, music)

Let the journey start!
What would you work on if energy was free?
Why make AI sound human? That's boring.

Let's make AI uniquely itself, something totally new and exciting. Imagine if AI communicated in wild, creative ways we've never seen before.

It could use colors, shapes, sounds, or even influence our dreams. This would be more fun and avoid the creepiness of AI pretending to be human. We'd get to enjoy AI for what it really is: a different kind of intelligence that could surprise and delight us in unexpected ways.

Good morning Farcaster. Are you still alive?
Imagine what would be possible if – instead of competing, sanctioning, and fighting each other – the American, European, Russian, Chinese, Indian, Japanese (…) would ALL collaborate on every significant human endeavor.
deadmau5's "Strobe" is certainly one of the best electronic music songs EVER.
What is the best platform to publish a "book" that is too short to be a book (approx. 100 pages of content), should be published online for free and be discoverable and sharable, accepts donations as payments, will be updated regularly?

A wiki? A blog?
Given the current improvements of AI (doubling every 6 months), and projecting it on an exponential scale will result in 50 years (year 2074) in technology that is 1,267,650,600,000,000,000,000,000,000,000x more advanced than the AI we have today.
