Just launched African brother to Alfaka on Alfaca in Farcaster. https://alfaca.fun/user/382
For the Framer expert...I've been trying to do this. But I can't really get it.
I want to make an image or a video as a background of a section. Also, I want to put text on it and animate it. How can I realize this?
Here's an example https://katrinepil.com/?ref=lapaninja#menu

Designers!
I just created a place to find useful design resources for & from Farcaster projects & tokens. Feel free to send me any new resources, links, articles and more to be added to this resources platform.
Hope you find it useful and enjoy!

I didn't fully understand "Auto layout" in Figma.
But Framer is making things easier with "Stacks"

Just got inspiration from @antimofm.eth to start learning Framer. This is something, i built on my own after week of learning it. It's not really a big stuff, but it's a stepping stone.
I will be sharing my progress here.
Here's a link to it https://quicksage.framer.website/

Rating Brett's design 11 and Henrik's design 10 is wild. That's pretty close for a designer vs marketer.

The Porsche crest was first sketched on a napkin during a meal between Ferry Porsche and Max Hoffman in 1952. The napkin was used to draw the first sketches of the Porsche crest.
Created some Tshirt merch. Designed with Figma, and added the texture on Photoshop. Mad fun doing this.
Good designers have great taste and it improves faster than our craft. That’s Ideal, actually, but its side effect is that we’ll always feel like our work is not good enough ‘yet’ as our benchmark is really high and constantly rising as we are exposed to other great work.

My new found way of touching grass as a designer.
I go to citywalki.com and choose any city and view their street designs and the outlook of the city. It's very therapeutic. I can't afford to go this cities, but I enjoy the view.

I discover a tool that is hardly spoken about here, I wonder what the reason could be.
I felt this way last year when I started using bolt to build products without knowing how to code.
The tool is actually so easy to use especially as a beginner to animation. Moved from Figma to Phase and back without stress.
Mad stuff!
If you haven’t used it before do so and thank me https://www.phase.com/
Feel like this will change the game fr

There’s a phenomenon in web design where an upstart can force the hand of established websites and apps by launching a new UI with a fresh lick of paint.
one e-commerce website launches a website redesign and suddenly other e-commerce websites start to look outdated.
the knock-on effect is some users start to feel like the websites with older UI are SLOWER.
Anyway, it seems like Kendrick’s sound being top-of-mind is going to make Drake’s music sound quaint for the foreseeable future.

New stream of users flooding Farrcaster already. It's been almost a year now since I joined.

I did an Illustration to represent the different majority ethnic groups in Nigeria.
It wasn't quite easy simplifying this shapes, yet I pulled through. I targeted two things, how they present their facial hairs and caps and mostly their form of identity.

As a designer, ImageFX might just be the best Google creation in this AI revolution.
Mazda’s new flat logo demonstrates a few key takeaways for anyone considering a brand refresh:
1. Don’t Trend-Grab; Purpose-Build
Align your redesign with genuine brand and user experience needs, not just aesthetic fads.
2. Keep the DNA
If your existing emblem carries recognizable, iconic elements—don’t throw them away. Adapt them to modern contexts instead.
3. Think Digital
Your logo may appear an inch wide on a website or as a tiny avatar on social media. A simplified mark is often clearer and more impactful in these contexts.
4. Look Within Your Own Evolution
A brand identity can (and arguably should) evolve in increments. Stand on the shoulders of what came before to build continuity and brand equity.
5. Refinement Over Reinvention
A subtle, considered refining of a logo can pay long-term dividends in recognition and brand loyalty.

Maybe you should try dressing with a suit and tie and a black briefcase.

I love this, but there’s no way some of these people aren’t sprinting into their homes saying “some crazy bald man wanted to chain me up out there.”
China keeps demystifying the west and its capitalism. From creating cheap technology tools to creating cheap, yet sophisticated Generative AI tool.
Do people actually work with people or portfolios?
Underrated design tip: Just sit and stare. Don’t rush to copy—observe. Notice the spacing, colours, and flow. Let it teach you. Great design whispers; you have to listen.
