Today I personally bid farewell to the year that was, and look forward to the year that shall come.

Went to Paris once and bumped into this dude.
Few years letter checked out his place in Amsterdam.
Considered his life & how he killed himself at 37, having only sold 1 painting, & likely thinking himself a failure.
Makes me think how hard we are on ourselves in the moment. How short our time frame/perspective usually is. And how hard/lonely/without purpose it can seem at times.
Basically, youβre not alone. Probably not Van Gogh but that spot was taken. π
We get to dance our own dance, together. πΊπ

You need to find what works for you. What is successful and suits your time, goals, mentality, etc.
