When they're young every night I try to pick them all up a lot. I'll pick one up, pet it three times then put them down.
I think the repeated pick ups help. Sometimes I'll just sit with one for a while.

This guy somehow got into the house today and smashed himself to death against the windows. Unfortunately I was not at home to save him :(

We treat humans so much differently based on individual traits.
So much range in IQ, character traits, etc.
Yet, we kind of treat/accept animals based on a single character: their specie.
I am curious whether there is as much variance in personal traits of other animals/mammals, as there is among humans.
