Death Spell

Death Spell is a short animation from my Alive series, where I reimagine Bosch’s chaotic universes through my own symbolic language, breathing life into my painted worlds. In this scene, a surreal, hallucinatory hellscape unfolds. A mysterious creature performs a dark ritual, casting a spell on a figure riding a bull. As the enchantment takes effect, the rider’s perception of reality begins to fracture, spiraling into a nightmarish delirium. Disoriented and powerless, he become trapped in an ever-worsening horror—until death, patient and inevitable, claims him.

"Research Notes on the Psychological Phenomenon of Jumnesia Jungle Disorder" Today, I encountered a peculiar case—a mental disorder I’ve called Jumnesia Jungles. It’s a mental condition where the afflicted are overwhelmed by vivid hallucinations of dense, chaotic jungles. There is something unsettling about these visions. The jungle, in all its wild, untamed nature, mirrors the unconscious—those dark, repressed aspects of the self that often remain hidden. The hallucinations seem to be more than mere fantasy. The jungle represents the shadow, a symbolic manifestation of the parts of the psyche that are ignored or feared. It’s as though the mind is drawing the individual into this primal, untouched space to confront what they’ve long suppressed. This condition might not simply be a disorder; it feels like a deeper call. The jungle is an archetype—dangerous, yes, but also full of potential for discovery. The afflicted are forced to engage with the untamed aspects of their being, to explore the raw, instinctual forces within them. The hallucinations are not just a retreat, but a confrontation with the unconscious. I can’t help but think of dissociation as a possible factor—an attempt to escape unresolved conflicts. Yet, there is potential here. The jungle, despite its overwhelming chaos, could lead to personal growth. The journey through it may open a path to deeper self-awareness, as long as the individual dares to face what lies hidden within. This Jumnesia Jungles disorder is not simply a manifestation of madness, but an invitation to venture into the dark recesses of the psyche. Le Pain Maudit

Le Pain Maudit is a short animation from my series Alive, where I reinterpret Bosch’s chaotic universes through my own symbols and signs. This piece animates a scene inspired by the 1951 mass poisoning in France, where 250 people fell victim to ergot-contaminated rye bread. Ergot is a fungus which produces effects akin to LSD, causing hallucinations, burning pain in limbs, muscle weakness, and, in severe cases, gangrene and death. The chaos in this work is a metaphor for the instability we face today in Argentina—a nation grappling with economic crises and social despair. A country where current reality reveals a pervasive sense of uncertainty, with systemic issues poisoning daily life

Log Entry: Valley of the Glitchbound Date: 26th of January, 2025 Subject: Temporal and Spatial Aberrations The Valley of the Glitchbound is swallowed by towering mountains on all sides—colossal peaks that seem to scrape against the very sky. The valley itself is a chasm carved into the earth, where the mountains loom like silent, watching gods. The land beneath them is warped, as though the mountains themselves are pressing down, bending time and space to their will. Time here is broken. It stutters and fractures, unable to keep its course. The mountains seem to echo this disruption. Shadows fall at odd angles, and moments flicker in and out, looping in a relentless cycle. A single step can send one back to where they started, or worse—into a place that doesn’t exist at all. The landscape shifts with a disturbing fluidity. Paths that should be clear fade into the mist, only to reappear as something else entirely. Rock faces dissolve into the air, forming and collapsing with each breath. The mountains seem to warp the ground beneath, making it difficult to discern what is solid from what is not. I have seen figures—trapped souls—flicker between the jagged peaks, their forms jerking in unnatural motions, caught in loops that never end. The mountains seem to echo their agony, as though the very stone is holding them prisoner, unwilling to release them from their eternal torment. The air hums with a deep, vibrating static, like the valley itself is alive with some forgotten force, pressing against every step, every breath. Goldy, a stop-motion animator, embarks on a journey to fashion a ‘deconstructed cake.’ Meanwhile, digital illustrator Liam draws inspiration from the classic Marie Antoinette quote, ‘Let them eat cake,’ infusing his artwork with an eerie charm. As for John, listed as a 3D artist, he employs a medley of techniques to breathe life into an irresistibly adorable cake character. Hell's Vortex

Hell’s Vortex is a short animation part of a series called Live Paintings, where detailed deconstructions of Bosch's works are reimagined through my personal symbols and signs. This specific piece brings to life a chaotic scene inspired depicting a creature with an axe battling demons as they are sucked into a vortex descending into deeper levels of hell. The art explores destruction, transformation, and the cyclical nature of chaos, drawing a parallel to contemporary struggles while immersing us in a surreal, living universe.

Log Entry - Expedition 47-AX Date: 19th of January, 2025 Location: Aetherfall, Uncharted Valley of Rhyz’vaar Entry 001: Initial Observation We have arrived at the base of Aetherfall after three days of navigating through dense forests and treacherous terrain. The waterfall itself is unlike any natural formation we’ve encountered before—its waters appear to shimmer with a soft, violet glow, casting an almost ethereal light across the surrounding rocks and mist. The sound is indescribable—like a low hum, vibrating through the very ground beneath our feet. I attempted to measure the flow rate of the waterfall earlier, but the instruments we brought seem to malfunction in its presence, possibly due to the unique energy permeating the area. The detailed scenes, rich recreated with my own signs and symbols, envision what might occur if these paintings were alive. In this animation, a demon descends into hell, battling surreal forces—a poignant analogy for the current economic struggles in Argentina. The work reflects how the new political and economic policies are driving people deeper into poverty, illustrating the harsh realities of surviving on a base salary in today's Argentina.
