𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩#𝟰𝟭 The Plastic Paradox

Despite the staggering amounts of plastic produced worldwide, only about 9% of it has been recycled. This statistic highlights a critical inefficiency in global waste management and the overwhelming scale of plastic pollution. Most of this material still ends up in landfills, oceans, or is incinerated, releasing toxic emissions.

🍫 In Switzerland, scientists have developed a formula for ecological chocolate

Did you know that in the classic chocolate recipe only grains are used, and cocoa beans, the size of a small pumpkin, are used? Chocolate, developed at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich by Kim Misroy, includes the pulp of the cocoa bean, the juice and the husk, or endocarp.

The use of fruit juice excludes the need for sweeteners, as the juice contains 14% sugar. This amount is enough to preserve the usual sweetness of the product.

This reduces the cost of chocolate, the amount of waste and cuts down forests for growing cocoa.
This is why it is important to take care of nature
𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩#𝟰𝟬 Energy Savings in a Bottle

Recycling a single glass bottle can save enough energy to power a light bulb for 4 hours. This small act reduces energy consumption and helps lessen the demand for new raw materials. In a world increasingly focused on sustainability, such simple actions can have a large collective impact, emphasizing the importance of recycling in conserving resources and reducing waste.

I have a dream to have a house in the countryside and to have my own garden. Such a sustainable way to live and connect to the nature and to the previous generations. It's so good to understand where your food comes from and to be part of it. Then it has a value.
Where and how do you want to live?
The fashion industry is the second biggest polluter of the planet after the oil industry
🎩when the $degen costs $1, I will open an eco-center in the center of Moscow.

It will include an eco-store (large, with products by weight and a gas station), a lecture hall and a hall for thematic conferences, as well as creative workshops with various equipment for processing materials. and, of course, separate waste collection will be organized.

I think this is a noble goal, and there are those who support my opinion, but to achieve it, I only need to sell my $degen at $1 apiece🎩
My husband and I have a hobby - to make the world a little cleaner from glass, plastic and metal in the dump♻️
𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩#𝟯𝟵 The Growing Pile of Textile Waste

Every year, the fashion industry generates ~92 million tons of textile waste, most of which ends up in massive landfills.
The fast fashion industry is a major contributor, as it encourages frequent consumption and disposal of clothing. Most of this waste ends up in landfills, where synthetic fibers can take hundreds of years to decompose, polluting the environment and releasing harmful microplastics.

𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩#𝟯𝟴 Plastic Recycling Saves Oil

Recycling one ton of plastic can save up to three tons of oil, highlighting a vital environmental benefit. By processing used plastics instead of producing new ones from raw materials, significant energy and natural resources are conserved. This helps reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and minimizes the environmental footprint of plastic production, making recycling an essential part of sustainable waste management and oil conservation efforts.

𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩#𝟯𝟳 The Invisible Killer

The burning of coal contributes significantly to air pollution, which is a leading cause of respiratory diseases. The smoke and toxic particles released during coal combustion contaminate the atmosphere, leading to severe health problems such as asthma and chronic bronchitis. Clean energy alternatives could prevent the suffering of millions while reducing harmful emissions in the process.

𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩#𝟯𝟲 Natural Coastal Guardians

Coconut palms, thriving along tropical coastlines, serve as more than just a picturesque part of the scenery. They act as a natural shield, protecting beaches from erosion and serving as barriers against destructive storms. Their strong roots help bind the soil, preventing the loss of precious land, while their towering trunks and broad leaves reduce the force of winds

𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩#𝟯𝟱 The Threat of Rising Seas

Due to climate change, sea levels are rising at an alarming rate. If current trends continue, coastal cities home to about 600 million people could be submerged by the end of the century. This devastating impact highlights the urgent need for global action to mitigate climate change and protect vulnerable communities.

Did you know that glass wool is a universal insulator and a good sound insulator. It is also used to reinforce the walls of buildings, roofs and floors. The raw material used for the production of the material is fiberglass. To create insulation for one house, you will need to recycle 3000 wine bottles.
It's my daughter's birthday today🥳

On this occasion, we went to one very interesting place: a restaurant + a play area, in which there are practically no plastic toys!

It is very aesthetically pleasing, all the colors are calm, the shapes are pleasant to the eye, and the materials are wood, fabric and some kind of sawdust agglomerate, that is, wood sawdust and some kind of binder.

My idea of toys as a multicolored plastic chaos has changed!

Now I want all these toys... for myself😁
Raspberries in October, this happens quite rarely, probably due to the warm September
Oh, those cute stacks)) Soon they will turn into wonderful notebooks with a recycled paper cover!

I'm thinking what inspirational inscriptions to decorate them with, do you have any ideas?)
