First AR15 build is 99% complete, just need to add my Streamlight w/ pressure switch. Being in NY, obtaining an AR is cumbersome - most pre-built options are not compliant with state laws. In order to be compliant I built a "featureless" AR which is the only way to have a removable magazine - imperative for self-defense application. Who wants to be stuck disassembling the upper from lower and releasing the mag to reload while asking the intruder/attacker to hold on a min LOL.
Still need to zero the optic, looking forward to when I've got time to go to the rifle range at the club.
I learned quite a bit during this process, and it's true - building AR's is pretty much like Legos for adults 😆

Glock Samson finally got some mag baseplate grip extenders AND a 9mm mag for the forthcoming .40 s&w to 9mm conversion barrel (looking forward to saving $0.10-0.20 a round for sure)

So I’m cross eye dominant, and as a result pulling down left. Will post here as I get more muscle memory reps in to reset quickly even if my grouping is a mile wide. Next round will experiment with a slight head turn to take my right eye ever so slightly out of the equation.
Today's "therapy"/practice session on my lunch break with my G48 MOS. Quick 100 rounds to build up that repetition.
Always sporting my "Social Economy" hat to the range.

Why aren't laser weapons used?
Laser weapons designed for direct destruction of targets Laser weapons designed for direct destruction of targets are quite problematic to create due to the large amount of energy required to destroy structural elements or disrupt the internal electronic systems of the target.

How far can a bazooka shoot?
It was an aluminum tube that launched a 3.5-inch (89-mm), 9-pound (4-kg) rocket carrying 2 pounds (0.9 kg) of combined explosive RDX/TNT. The main disadvantages of both bases were their bulky weight and length, as well as their short effective range (about 120 yards [110 meters])

If you have a question, what is the first weapon in the world, then I will tell you now.
The first weapons were a stick and a stone. From the very beginning, the main purpose of weapons was primarily protection from predators, and then hunting. But then the weapon began to be used for military purposes. Each historical period was characterized by its own types of weapons
