The core problem is that the industry lost its way a while ago and the indie venues have started to dry out because of how expensive it is to keep running shows. COVID was the nail in the coffin that sealed the deal, basically.
Beauty is subjective, yes, but if you don't have places to play, or can't even afford to, you can't have that conversation to begin with.

My kid's been getting so good at music production... I love it! They've been in a School of Rock class for a couple years now and then learning Ableton at home on their own. Listen to this one, it would hit on a dance floor for sure. If you go through their recent tracks there's a bunch of experiments in different styles, lots of cool stuff like custom synths and messing with different types of automation, idk it's over my head.

This album is for fans of something different but familiar.
Think classical avant-garde with a heavy metal attitude.
I manually composed, performed, and placed every note. The impossible parts were performed and manually edited.
These are very personal gestures, sensibilities, and emotional impulses.
Each piece stands alone on its own, but the album from start to finish is a consciously crafted arc with recurring gestures and motives.
Several fans have expressed being captivated by the ending, but the effect is best experienced having "earned" it after the ear has been primed by the previous material. So please try the full album. It's just under 20 minutes.
