I spent a few hours this morning getting the Tenderly "Simulate" transaction tx button in @safe to work
Fix
- It seems that signing out of the Safe web app completely and signing back in with an approval account fixed it
- As opposed to going directly to a saved link of your Safe like "app[dot]safe[dot]global/balances?safe=eth:0x485dA3718a997638d4056b388dE484164DcAE15d"
Other tests
- Disabled VPN and ad blockers
- Cleared cache and cookies
- Tested on 3 different browsers

Good reminder of why self ownership matters. One of my high yield savings accounts had a system upgrade and afterwards my account shows as non existent.
Does anyone use Tenderly's @safe Simulator for verifying transactions txs by manually inputting the tx data vs using this simulation feature through an existing app?
Manually adding the data is better for security because you can verify on multiple devices. While testing the "New Simulation" I receive failed simulation errors.
Verify CoWSwap trade on Tenderly
- "Insert any address" I tested adding both the Safe account address and the CoWSwap contract address. Each failed.
- "Enter raw input data" I copy|pasted data from the Safe app
- "Transaction Parameters" I kept "Use Pending Block" enabled

The worst hack of $1.5b in history was scary and confusing because it took what felt like a long time to learn what happened and what to do moving forward. I'm optimistic in the @safe ecosystem building easier to verify and stronger accounts moving forward.
Malicious code was pushed to production because AWS access was hacked. This is why version control rules like pull requests didn't matter.
Safe will prioritize device accounts that show full transaction readability that @ethos, GridPlus, Hito, etc. are working on.

is there a way to use a custom SAFE app via the API ? Like is it possible to trigger while creating Tx via the api
