Shavasana is the best asana.
When I’m not reporting on the heavy issues our world is facing, I’m working on my side and middle split.

questionable yoga angles deserves privacy, not a viral moment 😅

What kind of yoga do you like to do in the morning?
There is something about backbends that makes the practitioner look strong, capable, and accomplished ❤️

I’m a big fan of Ally Maz, but her mellow stuff can be a bit too mellow sometimes. Looking for some new ideas!

Just wrapped up my personal yoga challenge - 21 days straight! Thought today would be a chill day, but nope, I’m back on the mat for round 22 😀
Not quite a habit yet, but my body seems to be craving it, so here I am🧘♀️

i went to a yoga class today and suddenly saw someone i studied with three years ago.
she didn’t recognize me, and my first instinct was to smile all enthusiastically and say, “hey how are you blah blah.”
but then i stopped myself and thought,
— do you really want to do this?
— nah, i really don’t.
it felt nice. and i bet she did the same thing.

Back to basics.
Part of the teachings in my yoga teacher training was to remember to have a beginner’s mind.
A beginner’s mindset is to approach each moment, each event, each pose like you’re a beginner all over again even if you feel like an expert. It’s a way to humble yourself and remember what it was like to be a beginner.
When you’ve been lazy and haven’t been practicing for months, a beginners mindset is essential. My strength and flexibility aren’t the same as it was 5 or 10 years ago.
When I humble myself and let myself be a beginner again the expectations are taken away and the practice is more fulfilling.
Instead of feeling disappointed in myself or letdown in how I’m not “as good” anymore, I can feel proud of myself for starting again.
And I can look forward to that muscle soreness hurting so good next day. 💪

sometimes I’m just too lazy to work out, so I came up with this “10-minute rule” trick.
I basically trick my brain by convincing myself to just do 10 minutes of yoga. And you know what? most of the time, I end up going way longer 😅
just 10 minutes—it’s quick, it’s easy, and before you know it, the habit forms on its own.

Is it just me, or there is quite a difference between male and female yoga teachers?
I've tried like 20-30 different ones, and I feel like guys usually focus on speed and strength, while women focus more on stretching and calmness.
(today I had a guy, and we did around 20 chaturangas in total, I almost died haha)

You deserve to be expansive—not just physically, but emotionally, energetically, and spiritually.
Deepening my practice is my greatest joy—self-exploration and full awareness offer an awakening like no other. But guiding others through their own journey is where my heart truly finds fulfillment. Witnessing them step into confidence, build trust within themselves, and express gratitude reminds me why I teach—why this path chose me.
Today I practiced yoga at the studio even though I wanted to spend the day at home in a very lazy way.
The class was called “lab”. It was intense. But the teacher also gave time to go deeper into asanas and adjusted us a bit. It was a good experience.

After the whole day at the office I was very tired. Practicing yoga gave me new energy for the evening.
-There don’t seem to be a lot of people here, but hello! I’m here to liven things up!! Here’s a few fun facts about me.
-Currently, I’ve been a lazy yogi and haven’t practiced physically for way too long. 🧘🏻♀️
-I’m a 200 hour certified teacher of vinyasa. 🤸🏻♀️
-I worked for Kino Macgregor, an OG yoga influencer 💅
-Yoga has been a beautiful part of my life and it would be a tragedy to lose the skill and practice. And with those the mindset, lost.
-I want to build a better practice and thus a better me. Yoga will always welcome me back with open arms and tell me to stay. I just need to listen.

Teachers: in a studio setting, w limited time, how do you handle a student who isn’t asleep but won’t come out of savasana?
Trying to get back to yoga and be consistent. Found some YouTube channels I love and hope I stick with it ☺️🧘🏽♀️

Today I have a 3-hours online meeting. So I practiced yoga in my lunch break. The idea was to move and stretch a bit before sitting for such a long time.
Today I practiced Ashtanga yoga. 🧘♀️
I’m quite tired after the practice. I’ll probably sleep well later today.

#Yoga is a path of life for me
In this path, we don't need to know everything from the beginning
But knowing the terms we hear a lot gives us a deeper and more accurate perspective and helps us understand this path

I try to share with you the little tips and things that everyone who is on this path and needs to know

This evening, I practiced a Slow Flow. It was great to stretch and relax and to prepare for the coming week.

Regular yoga practice can reduce stress levels, improve flexibility and promote overall well-being.
Just last month, Sharath was in NYC leading a workshop. People came from around the world to practice yoga with him.
He shared with us just how proud he was of his daughter for starting school this fall at NYU, and that he was going to come back to the US more often because of that. All the yoga students were stoked.
I’m incredibly honored to have learned from him and devastated at the same time to learn that he just left this world at way too young an age.
May he RIP, and sending love to his family. Fellow practitioners of Ashtanga worldwide, myself included, are mourning 🙏
