Been doing a lot of stupid walking for my stupid mental health this week, which means my phone is now full of pretty pics.

For some, it’s a peaceful landscape. For me and my dandelion allergy, ITAP of a fluffy death trap straight out of a Stephen King book
Every spring, this path looks like it leads to a wedding all dressed in white petals.
I suspect my hair might actually be wavy, but I only get that effect if I let it air dry without any styling products. Which means it lasts for like an hour… or until I step outside and it turns into a nest.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve tried the curly method, but the results are always worse and half my hair just goes straight, and it never looks voluminous.

Somehow I hadn’t watched any music videos in like 2–3 years.
Today I caught a glimpse of Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra and had to watch the full video.
I’d heard the song before, but the video completely changed the vibe for me!
Now I’ve watched it about a hundred times, been dancing all evening, googled concert tickets, and wondering what kind of spell I need to actually get there.

Today I was the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland - always rushing somewhere and still late for everything.
When was the moment you realized you’d never try to seem smarter or more impressive than you really are?
I’ll go first!
I was 16, talking to the school’s certified heartbreaker, and we were chatting about books. He asked if I’d read The Prince by Machiavelli. I had never even heard of it. Then he said he didn’t know anyone who’d actually read it and that I talk about books in such an interesting way, he’d love to discuss it.
Guess who spent the next week reading a 16th-century political theory classic.
When I showed up ready to discuss, he looked surprised and said:
“Whoa, you really read it? That was 2Pac’s favorite book. I wanted to read it too, but it’s kinda heavy… did you like it?“
Yeah. Never again.

Braised Rabbit Recipe
1. Brown the rabbit meat in a bit of olive oil until golden.
2. Add and lightly saute:
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 1 bay leaf
I also add a little salt at this stage.
3. Pour in 1 glass of red wine (preferably when no one is watching who might cry over it). Let the alcohol cook off, then add a bit of water. Simmer for 30 minutes.
4. Add 100g of olives and 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar. Cover and cook on low heat for another 20 minutes.
Enjoy!

I was out all day grocery shopping for tomorrow, but still managed to catch this little chirp chirp cuteness.
Finally got to hear Carmina Burana live recently, and I was so hyped for it. But it felt… quiet. I think I’ve just been spoiled by dramatic recordings in headphones where you can blast the volume.
O Fortuna didn’t hit as hard as I hoped, but the rest was beautiful.
Might need to try front row next time. Thought the sound would be solid from anywhere, but maybe not.

So happy! finally got my hands on the H&M x Alex Bovaird collab (the genius behind The White Lotus costumes) after hunting for it all through March and April.
