What does /dev think about IBM i Series (AS/400)?

What about it's future? It's been called dead yet even the biggest european insurance for customers like caritas still uses it.

Thinking about learning react. I've been in a closed ibm ecosystem programming in RPG and I really disliked it. I feel like the market is flooded by js and webdevelopment though. Any advice?

I just finished knitting my first ever piece(s), socks. As present for gf. She tends to have cold feet. This is an extra layer of warmth. I think I never put that much love into a present before.
