🪨 I have just collected "Lacus Marmoreus" by @paul-prudence on @objktcom @tezos, extending my collection of works from Paul's "Time Compiled" generative series about geological time and temporality.

The works in this collection combine generative topographics with digital rendering and photogrammetry techniques.
An appreciation of geology is an aim to break the capital’s hegemony on temporality. We gain a special sensed perception through prolonged reflection, because any form of sustained interrogation becomes a meditation upon the paradox of time. 🧠

Over ten thousand delicate threads weave together, forming a vast sheet of shoji paper. Soft, golden light filters through, casting a warm, intricate pattern. Each thread moves with both randomness and purpose, creating an expansive beauty from quiet, subtle details.
