$DEW was a tough one, but I'm still holding strong with $BONKY. Thou $BID looks promising, but $SLENDER could be one of those that gains traction fast once people catch on.

Well, in this game, it’s all about positioning yourself well and being ready when the market shifts.

tbh, not all memecoins hit home runs. House and Urmon were solid, but Jingle might surprise us. Trump’s injecting liquidity into it memecoin , that could give it some serious legs. But is anyone else looking at Mario? That one is getting me curious
The $52m $TRUMP moves are big, but when you factor in Trump’s crypto vision, it’s clear the long-term plan is much bigger than this move.

I’m more than impressed by the transparency here than anything else.

I’m feeling pretty good about my $BOTIFY and $PEPO, but $JINGLE is shaping up to be the surprise of the year for me.

I’ll be holding tight for the next leg up.

How I feel with my gigantic stack of $1.5 worth of MONAD airdrop when Twitter users didn't get any.

Thx again Farcaster!
We keep saying build in public.

Well, so did Lazarus.

They built exploits.

They studied protocols.

They drained liquidity.

All to fund silence and missiles.

Just how secure are we, really?

I think L2s are going to have to rethink about their whole game plan if ETH keeps doing this.

This MEXC listing for $JINGLE is big for visibility.

I believe that if this picks up traction in Asia, we could see a similar run to what $PONKE or $MYRO had.

I'm not selling yet. I just bought more.

I picked up $JINGLE at 1.8M. Made solid profit as it hit 20M.

And with the 2nd leg coming, I’m all in.

If Nvidia makes this move, it could be a sign that more tech giants will follow suit.

Should we expect to see the likes of Apple, Google, or even Microsoft getting in on $BTC in the near future?

If we keep pushing, $BTC could be on its way to new highs.

This move above the short-term realized price is a clear signal.

Hold tight.

it would be super useful to have a simple app that sweeps all your balances across chains and sends them to a single chain automatically.
To me, crypto isn’t just about price charts. I found out that it’s more about freedom, access, and innovation.

We all know $SOL's got speed, but now, it's utilizing $NEAR’s Chain Signature.

Now, we could see more dApps that are faster and cheaper to run.

@base Onchain Daily Snapshot (04/24/2025)

Active Addresses: 1.02M (+26.36%)
Transaction Count: 7.19M (+3.45%)
TVL: $11.19B (+2.85%)
Stablecoin TVL: $3.81B (−0.52%)
Revenue: $130.51K (−55.94%)
Paid to L1: $7.56K (−90.28%)
Onchain Profit: $122.96K (−43.71%)
Transaction Cost: $0.0018 (−74.65%)

Today, Base had more users and transactions.
TVL went up again, but stablecoin amount dropped a little.

However, revenue and profit went down a lot, and gas fees were much cheaper.
It cost less to use the network, and much less was paid to L1.

In short: More people used Base, but the chain made less money today.
Onboarding to $SUI just became stupid simple, with xPORTAL.

When market demand is low, spreads in onchain money markets widen dramatically.

Aave’s USDC market today:
→ Lend Rate: 2.65%
→ Borrow Rate: 4.45%

That’s a 1.80% spread.

If we want to onboard the masses, we’ll need better quoting mechanisms.
X or Meta entering the space wouldn’t surprise me, but what I'll like know is if they'll take the lead on privacy and security.

Reflections on crypto, random and messy:

➟ Farcaster makes crypto fun again

➟ Privacy still needs to be solved onchain

➟ Seeing way more experimentation and what are the beginnings of hypertokenization because of regulatory ease in US and low cost to deploy tokens, as blockchains have scaled.

➟ Biggest winners this year are FinTech, some TradFi, and deep onchain infra cos because of their distribution and scalability to mass users.

➟ I think we may see someone big enter the chat soon. Speculation, but maybe X or Meta. First, Elon has promised X will be the everything app. Second, recall Libra and Novi Wallet from Meta/WhatsApp, and NFTs in Instagram. Meta saw the value of crypto, but it was too early when they first tried. Do they still got that dog in them?

➟ I believe people should be able to create whatever they want onchain, and ideally it’s peaceful and good 🤍

My own takes / NFA / DYOR
I believe no one really wants to buy an Instagram post just for the sake of buying it, but if the incentives are structured right, then we’ve got something that could last.

nice write up. content coins are actually a new thing. zora is the first platform to adopt them. letting the market be the algorithm is very interesting. i don't think we're quite there yet, but on to something.

incentives need to align. ask yourself, why do you want to buy an instagram post? answer: you don't.

but if the proper flywheels were in place then maybe you would. right now there's no flywheel. you buy early and maybe you can sell for a higher price. thats the end of the cycle.

but what if i'm buying content coins from the top creators on the internet and i keep earning fees on additional content they drop? starts getting more interesting.

think about current incentive defi flywheels and add those to the social context.

El-Salvador continues to lead by example. They just added more $BTC to their reserves.

If Web3 banking is going to scale, it needs to solve trust issues, UX, and regulation. That's not easy, tbh.

But imagine being able to manage your $BTC, earn yield, pay bills, and run a DAO treasury from one dashboard.

Yes, and that’s the future I want to see.

When you realize only 5% of people own crypto, then it becomes crazy.

This means that 95% of the world hasn’t even touched crypto.

There's so much room for growth.

Now, imagine what crypto could look like once 30% or more get in.
I’ve learned the hard way, to never trade right before a Fed speech.

I let Powell talk, let the market digest, then act.

What's your strategy?
If you’ve ever struggled with high transaction costs or slow confirmation times, $NEAR might just be the solution you've been waiting for.

The combination of low fees, quick transactions, and a smooth user experience makes it ideal for DeFi projects.

Unfortunately, it's underrated.

It’s interesting to see how $NEAR Intents could change the way we interact with crypto.

Instead of jumping between apps or dealing with complex processes, you just tell the chain what you want, like swapping tokens across different chains, and it makes it happen.

If NEAR can get more people to notice this, it could seriously streamline how we use Web3.

I think the challenge with onboarding normies is that there is just way too much to learn. There are too many concepts to understand to use crypto safely.

I casted before that I got a hotel in Panama to accept crypto for the first time. I set them up with Coinbase wallet and sent the money there. USDC on base. Pretty easy.

But then how can they off-ramp? So we needed to setup a Coinbase account where they could add their bank, kyc, and off-ramp.

It got really confusing explaining the difference between a wallet + key vs their Coinbase account + password.

They still haven’t even added their bank because it requires 2FA- but there isn’t service here. So they have to leave to go into town to find service just to get their SMS code to initially login to Coinbase.

So then I explained passkeys can help with that.

Besides even setting up a wallet and an off ramp mechanism, they asked how can they accept more crypto in the future. I had to explain Stablecoins…
