/amp is changing. I'm rethinking from the ground up what /amp should be about. right now it's many things - limited reddit client, semantic search engine, topic-based news aggregator, farcaster LLM. in the coming weeks I will be re-orienting amp to help creators grow and engage their audiences better.

I launched on Hypersub a month ago. I didn't have any concrete plan for what value I was going to provide, but I did it anyway, as a forcing function to get me to think seriously about /amp as a business in the near-term. Fast forward one month and I've landed a paid product with real revenue!
Although I have been in the startup game for a few years now, this is the first time I've made revenue on one of my products - a huge personal milestone for me, all thanks to this community 💯
So what's next for /amp gold?
I'm now more motivated than ever to keep landing features and growing Amp and Hivemind, with a focus on premium features. All subscription revenue + Moxie rewards earned by these posts will be reinvested in scaling the ambition of the underlying indexing and AI infrastructure as well as the product itself. Been playing around with Hivemind nonstop for 3+ hours now. Attempts to explain what it is and what you can do with it:
- it's like GPT that understands everything happening on Farcaster
- on-demand summaries of any discussed topic across the network
- a blazing-fast way to survey user opinions on major events on the network
- fast search for specific information (e.g. Moxie contract address)

i like this new homepage design for ampcast. i think it would be better without the ai-summarized paragraphs at the top. just a headline and the actual casts would do the trick.

Autonomous = grouping and story writing is done by AI with zero human intervention. Every story references sources directly.
As more qDAUs post more interesting content, so will the stories get more interesting. As the network reaches higher throughput - a new newspaper can be generated and distributed hourly rather than daily.

In the last month, Amp indexed 30,000 casts - all searchable with f/oogle 🔍
I think I found a viable way of indexing ~4m new root casts that land on the network every month to create the most powerful semantic search for any social network, enabling a plethora of new experiences on top of Farcaster.
Will be building in this direction over the summer and beyond 🫡
