Thoughts on launching a token with the default trading pair being USDC?

what if self ownership was the default and speculation was secondary? more similar to irl
art, photos, posts, etc would start as 1/1 and mint directly into your own wallet
from there, if someone wanted to accept a bid on it they'd still be able to, or they could auction it at a later date, or keep the 1/1 and do a more abundant mint down the road that everyone could collect
feels like more flexibility long term:
1. accept bids passively
2. auction later
3. keep it forever
4. release an edition or coin it later on
also the ppl who care that companies owns all their data/photos might use this more bc it’s about ownership instead of “make money”, potentially opens a new market who isn’t comfortable w financializing everything (yet)
idk just throwing some thoughts out there as someone fairly new to putting things onchain

eg lots of builders will build coin tools for long term use cases (eg a project coin). I'm not starting any more projects right now so not a fit.
but that doesn't mean it's not worth building! build for your customer.

- norm that it's acceptable to repeatedly post
- set a market structure so content can be effectively priced
- have an app (i post mostly on mobile)

users first coins later! this shall deepen the depth of web3.
i see content coins as a way to get distribution for semi-free. the economic activity around a coin leads to downstream effects like more attention on socials. look at jesse’s coin, captured the mental real estate of an entire industry
i’ve seen the most success coining ads onchain. launch posts etc. anything can be a coin tho. so as people get more creative with the medium we should see more successful use cases. a lot of the pushback seems to be a framing issue. we will see. bullish zora
