Today was fluid therapy day for Lil Grey. This time, I gave it to him in his favorite spot to help keep him calm and it worked!😸🙏🏻 He stayed really relaxed.
Meanwhile, Pepe is doing much better with his cold. He’s sneezing just a little bit now and doesn’t need any more medicine 💊 Soon he’ll be able to play with Rocky and Lil Grey again! 😺🐾🐈⬛🫶🏻

It’s been two months since Lil Grey broke his only back leg. We’ve been through a lot since then, but once again, he’s showing me he’s stronger than I ever imagined🥺😺🫶🏻

Pepe finally got a bit of sleep after being awake for 38 straight hours🥺 He hadn’t been able to rest because he’s breathing through his mouth and that meant I couldn’t rest much either. Early this morning I took him for a check-up but they just said it’s normal for congested cats to have trouble sleeping bc breathing through the mouth is really hard for them. The good news is his lungs sound clear and he doesn’t have a fever🙏🏻
Later at night I took him for another check-up, and things are still the same. For now, all we can do is wait and keep helping him with nebulizer treatments 3 to 4 times a day. I’ve been wrapping him up like a little burrito 🌯 to make the nebulizing easier. He’s not as scared of the noise anymore, which is a relief.
He’s had less of an appetite today so I bought him some recovery wet food, and thankfully he’s eating that. Hopefully he’ll clear up soon and start breathing through his nose again so that he’ll be able to rest much better 🙏🏻

I'm really exhausted guys! bc today I went to the vet four times!🫠 Just a quick update: I took Pepe back for a check-up tonight. He no longer has a fever 🙏🏻 but he's still breathing through his mouth and hasn’t been able to sleep because his nose is so congested. He’ll continue with nebulizer treatments at home but this time with some medication the vet gave me. He also needs to take an anti-inflammatory pill twice a day. Thankfully, I already had some at home so I didn’t need to buy more.
Also this afternoon, I took Rocky to get vaccinated because I don’t want him catching anything🙏🏻 Pepe will stay isolated in another room until he gets better. I’ll probably take Lil Grey tomorrow to get vaccinated too, just to be safe. Please send some good vibes for Pepe🙏🏻✨

Well, now Pepe has caught a cold🤧 Last week Lil Grey had the sniffles too he was sneezing, so the vet gave him an antihistamine and he got better. But it looks like he passed it on to Pepe and now he’s really congested.
I took him to the vet twice today. The first time they checked him and found he had a fever. They said it was probably something viral and gave him an anti-inflammatory shot. But as the day went on, he didn’t get any better😿 He even started breathing with his mouth wide open, which scared me, so I took him to a different vet.
They checked him again,he still had a fever, but thankfully his lungs were clear and there’s no infection, just a lot of congestion. They gave him another shot to bring down the fever. I also need to give him nebulizer treatments, but Pepe is scared of the nebulizer, so it hasn’t been easy.
I had just given him his rabies shot on Saturday and I was planning to give him the feline triple vaccine this week, But sadly I didn’t get to it in time 😣

Hi guys! Today I took Lil Grey to a check-up with the kidney specialist. His test results look much better, so now he only needs one injection of erythropoietin per week instead of three🙏🏻😸 He’ll also continue getting fluids at home twice a week. They checked his blood pressure too, and it came out great!👌🏻
His next check-up won’t be for another two months, so let’s hope he keeps getting better and can take a break from all the vet visits!🙏🏻
Also, the clinic’s cat came over to say hi to Lil Grey😻😻🫶🏻 it’s a huge kitty weighing about 15 pounds!🙈
