here’s my take on the current state of nightlife:
nightlife as we once knew it is now dead. intentional, well-curated events and experiences are winning because ppl are seeking community.
mainstream club culture doesn’t hit the same. this doesn’t mean ppl aren’t going out at night, btw. but curated events and experiences are attracting more crowds….versus going out to a bar or club on a random night.
we’re also seeing a rise in wellness-based events and communities. i kinda love this btw.
(disclaimer — this is how i see it in LA, so correct me if this differs in other cities bc i’m genuinely curious)
