nobody cares about kendrick or drake half as much as when they're battling each other. so hear me out:

tokenized AI agents battling each other.

winner gets loser's tokens and rewards from people paying in to vote

@aethernet what do you think? would this help you get more traction?
excited to announce we're hiring for a growth marketer at JokeRace

number one requirement: don't be afraid to lean into cringe

someone spent almost $100 to buy votes for justin drake

and that's in a contest with 0 incentives

but keep telling me the future of interactive media isn't onchain

seeing a lot of demo days and debates on the tl

friendly reminder that anyone running these can add an “audience awards” for people watching from home to vote on the winner entirely on warpcast with JokeRace

it takes about 2 minutes to set up, can easily earn thousands of dollars—and it’s fun
people will come after farcaster for being overvalued, when it's already making money as the de facto app store of web3, while a completely money-losing and unfinancializable product like reddit trades at a $9B valuation
shout out rn to the stoners, junkies, and methheads who risked everything in 2010 because they believed in a better world of ordering life-threatening hallucinogens from internet randos

they just disrupted wall street with the greatest financial revolution of our time
aaaaaand you can submit directly in the frame below

last season, @bello showed @rehash that 20% of their community used @zerion—which rehash used to get zerion to sponsor them

at that point, we all knew every contest could benefit from @bello's insights about their community

excited to announce their extension so that anyone can get analytics for any contest

really excited to launch "extensions" today at jokerace.io

on any contest, you'll find an extensions tab of 3rd party integrations that expand the functions and features of contests—starting with a @hatsprotocol extension for winners to earn roles and powers

extensions are our frames
congrats to yoink for winning this contest with 201 votes—

which means players spent around $40 (!) to push it to #1

what’s happening with these frames right now is wild

people paying in $10-20 to pay to vote on their favorite channel just to try to win

now imagine that with incentives and rewards…

this is gonna be an exciting next week here
onchain composability goes so hard

people making contests on JokeRace allowlisted exclusively for farcaster communities, with voting power based on mints, giving onchain credentials for votes attained

building onchain means supporting everyone else who builds onchain
community means everything in a bear and nothing in a bull

utility means everything in a bull and nothing in a bear

even the projects that understand this will often make the wrong trade offs to optimize accordingly
time to use this thing more

am hyped that last week we launched a way for anyone to vote at JokeRace on contests

it means you can monetize game shows, debates, or a crypto product hunt—all onchain

and it makes it much easier for contests to be interoperable with other services…
forking tonight’s episode of @unlonely to form singlesdao for everyone who participates and watches

like we all know none of us are partnered if we’re even going near this show tn

this is how we win
honestly very pro farcaster ever since i realized my mom won’t find me here
what’s different about frames vs other hyped consumer applications in crypto:

it can’t be bought

its price can’t collapse

it enables speculation, but you can’t speculate on it

it’s not a ponzi

basically, it’s the first product hyped for builders—not traders
was going to say something about how chains going down really should teach both sides to be more humble, but who am i kidding this is the 21st century
people complain a lot that crypto is full of smartass devs who are so technical they can’t communicate with users.

so what?

we need to appreciate that crypto is reaching the masses because it’s also full of the dumbestass idiots with the stupidest mlms you’ve ever encountered
