Errr wait so how am I/mods supposed to discover good new potential channel members? They need to dm us or we need to just happen to see their casts in another channel?

Oh interesting, i like the cleaner home feed and channels tags next to casts a lot

Feature request: can dm requests preview the message? I don’t respond to any right now because it’s cumbersome to click through each one just to see the message text haha

any climbers in here? how do y'all deal with wanting to go to the sauna but then also it then messing up your skin for like two days so you can't climb lol

the UX of removing bot likes is kind of odd rn, got a notif my cast was trending and saw 30 likes then later came back to see 9 likes and a notif that said "x + 5 others liked your cast" which doesn't add up

request for composer action: I want an action where I can paste in an X link and it cross-posts the whole thread to a given channel for me. idk if that is possible since I think the actions only produce one cast?

dumb q, what's the easiest way of deserializing the state for a cast action when using the neynar validateFrameAction API?

Are there rules for how other client casts/reactions appear on warpcast? i.e. if I build a client do I need to make sure messages are under a certain length etc?

Zora launched ERC1155 -> ERC20 mints yesterday, where certain NFTs can have a timed open mint and then trade on a Uniswap pool after.

But is it working? I whipped up a quick dash to take a look at mint versus secondary behaviors 👀

What are the most common methods for calculating fees of a protocol? Multiplying some constant on all volume, tracking transfers to a treasury address, checking claims on a rewards contract - what are other interesting methods/queries you've seen?

Whats the best way to learn design these days? Ive hired a designer and am trying to learn from their process as my crash course, but curious if others have good advice on building an intuition/practice here.

Less about learning figma or a tool, more about learning the thinking and approaches here.

I think the dichotomy that strikes me most is the volume of difference between twitter and farcaster. On twitter, you have a large following if you have more than 10-20k followers. And a tweet does “well” to get like 50+ likes.

Here, you have most of your feed covered with people that have 100-200k+ followers, which is just unfathomable given the size we know CT is. And every cast from them automatically gets like 100 likes right away. Those who have been here longer know 80% of those are just bots, imo we have more of an unfiltered bot on stats problem than any autofollow/reach problem. But people new here will complain its a reach problem because of the magnitude of difference. And people psychologically hate seeing that big of a difference.

So if I asked the warpcast team for anything, it would be better bot filtering on all shown stats.
